“We enjoyed our stay and were fortunate to persuade the local pub to open up to serve us food. If the pub is shut then th”
+Newbrough is a small place and the property was central to everything. Everything was well laid out and the instructions for entry to the bunk rooms and secure bike store were explicit and easy to execute. The property was really clean and the bedding and towels were beautifully laundered.
−The property, at capacity, could accommodate 18 people. We were the only people in the property and there was 5 of us. The kitchen, whilst very clean and well stocked, was way too small for 18 people. Thankfully for us we were the only ones there and so it was perfect for our needs. All 5 of us were of this opinion.

“convenient, comfortable, communicative, secure bicycle storage”
+I stayed here while cycling along Hadrian's Cycleway. I was surprised that I was the only one staying in the entire bunkhouse. The host was communicative. I appreciated the secure bicycle storage. There’s a pub almost next door which is convenient, but you need a booking. I was thankful for the kitchen at the bunkhouse. It was comfortable and clean. I would stay again.

“Wonderful stay”
+Absolutely loved this place, I was travelling with my car and walking Hadrians wall, the place is spotlessly clean and has all the facilities for a very pleasant stay for the price you pay (I would say extremely good value for money compared to other properties available in the surrounding areas) the village itself is very quaint and peaceful with a great pub next door and a petrol garage about a mile away, with a shop that is very well stocked with everything you could need, that being said the property itself has pretty much everything as well with a honestly box to pay for whenever you use. I was made to feel very welcome by 3 of the people i briefly met that run this place, all in all a great great find, I will stay again next time I walk the wall.
−Nothing to dislike

“Cracking spot, exactly what you need from a budget bunkhouse.”
+Proper shower not on a meter, decent fridge and freezer space, quiet location.
−The sink being outside the kitchen is a little odd but no real bother.
