“Good stopping place. Convenient & quiet”
+Standards kept up, though general grounds tidiness fallen off a little. Clean rooms, large quantity of towels & plenty toiletries. Security good.
−Mosquito net is ok, but Doom etc. should be provided. Also a small bar fridge & cold water. Dining left something to be desired. Meat v tough.

“Shabby & need new management!”

−The restaurant is an embarrassment! My partner ordered "stir-fry chicken" and received a bowl of spaghetti with literally 4 pieces (1cm x 3cm) of chicken. (Photos attached.) 20 years ago, dining under the stars was a treat. Now, no outdoor lights, tables have no table cloths, and the PITS is when a plastic red squeeze bottle for tomato sauce and a Knorr plastic bottle of salad dressing is placed before you! And DO NOT play "musical tomato sauce" as this grubby bottle is whisked from table to take! Utter disgrace! Too much effort to decant into something smart, elegant?? Breakfast at 07:00 yet at 07:20 staff were still putting out breakfast! So much so, I left 07:40 - I gave up on waiting for breakfast! Tourist who were there were visibly shocked, annoyed as their travel schedule was effected! What a shocking / disgraceful intro for international tourists - is this the best Africa (Botswana) has to offer? A MASSIVE EMBARRASSMENT Nata Lodge has become! Nata/restaurant needs new management!!! Finally, first impressions count! Is it too much effort to move that broken outdoor umbrella out of the outdoor dining area? Appears so!

“Convenience and comfort!”
+Location just off the highway makes it a convenient stop. Chalet is wonderful! Roomy, comfortable bed, hot shower. We stayed only 1 night but would definitely return.

“Just a quick overnight, wish we had more time to explore.”
+Just a quick overnight after a long day on challenging roads, however, facility was excellent.
−Sign at the entrance of property need som attention, almost missed the turnoff.

“Double-check everything - they're a bit scammy”
−- They downgraded our room to a much worse one, with no explanation and they tried to charge us for the higher rate room. - No offer of a discount or free meal to apologise. They merely offered to refund the room rate difference from our restaurant bill. But even then, they insisted that they wouldn't refund the drinks from the rate difference. Had to argue to get our full refund. - It felt like they were trying to gouge us for as much as possible.
