“Overall it was good value.”
+The food was excellent and very good value. That applied to the evening meal and breakfast.
−Although the room was nice it probably needed updating in terms of the decorations and the bathroom was only adequate. There was only a shower hose in the bath and the mixer was old fashioned and difficult to control.

“Location was very good but poor quality and value for money.”
+Food was acceptable (poor quality but prepared very well)
−Very dirty and I expect it will be shut within a couple of years, and most of the staff agree

“Lovely staff and food, hotel need some care and attention in places”
+Loved the food, breakfast lunch and dinners were all amazing
−The hotel could do with some care and attention the walls and hand rails need decorating and in places very dated. The jacuzzi wasnt the best broken pumps and missing tiles. The sauna broke when a young man sat on the wooden bench. We was asked by reception if we wanted dinner so we agreed and the booked us a table for 7.45, we had a few drinks in the bar before hand but when we got there was told no reservation had been made. Lucky they managed to accommodate us as we had drank and couldn't of drove anywhere else.

“Weekeday getaway”
+The staff were welcomeing and helpful. Stunning location. Loved the swimming pool and the spacious room. Great breakfast.
−Needs some refurbishment. The gym was like exercising in a sauna the air con didn't work. Tiles were coming up in the jacuzzi. Could be cleaner. There was spiderwebs in nearly every conten not just in oir rokm, in the restaurant, the corridor. Mould around the windows and the shower didn't work in our room. Food was overpriced and tiny portion, had to order extra chips to a pasta dish to not leave the restaurant hungry. Very limited menu because they were down to one chef.

+Location. Nice well equipped suite.
−We stayed here 20 years ago. This time the property decor seemed quite tired. The bar was soulless and quite bare. No cosy atmosphere!
