“Avoid if travelling with a baby or expecting basic standards.”
+To start with the positives, the staff themselves were friendly and polite during our stay, and the location is convenient, with a short walk to the beach area.
−Avoid if travelling with a baby or expecting basic standards. We stayed at Mutlu Hotel for 8 days and unfortunately had a very poor experience overall, particularly as we were travelling with our infant. However, there were multiple issues that significantly affected our experience. Several of these raised serious safety concerns. The cot provided was incomplete and unsafe, with no zipper attachment to close it properly, meaning our baby could have easily fallen or climbed out. We had to push it against the wall to make it usable. The bedroom door also had a fault where it would get stuck and lock if fully closed, which is extremely dangerous when you have a young child who cannot respond or move out of the way in an emergency. Hygiene was also below expectations. There was someone’s chewing gum stuck in the shower vent, which was unpleasant to discover. In the kitchen area, there were drinking glasses and bowls provided, but only an old, worn scrubber and no washing-up liquid, making it difficult to clean anything properly. This gave the impression that cleanliness and basic upkeep were not being prioritised. Basic facilities were also not maintained. The bidet was broken for the
