“A gem in Northern Vermont”
+If you plan to visit northern Vermont, I would highly recommend staying at the Muddy Mouse. I actually cant think of anything negative to say about it. It's truly a diamond in the rough. The property sits on a mountain top and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen. The cabins have been meticulously cleaned with a lot of thought put into providing every convenience. There are hiking trails on the property and a barn with additional indoor activities. The management is extremely responsive to any communication and deals with any issues immediately. The place is truly a paradise. It's also conveniently located to Stowe, ski areas, Waterbury and within an hours drive of Burlington. Loved it so much, planning a return trip!

10.0+Recently stayed at Muddy Moose Cabin in Vermont, and it was a delightful experience! The serene surroundings provided a peaceful escape, and the cabin's cozy atmosphere felt like a home away from home. Safety was a top priority, and the quiet ambiance added to the charm. Highly recommend for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway!

10.0+This property is amazing! We’ve stayed at so many places over the years and it’s very common for places to be misrepresented. You see pictures and read descriptions that never quite measure up once you check in, that is not the case at the Muddy Moose. The moment we arrived we were greeted at the door of the welcome center with warm welcoming enthusiasm. Check-in was a breeze and then it was time to see the cabin. We booked a one bedroom cabin that was in a beautiful secluded spot toward the back of the property. It was the cleanest stay we have ever booked. Everything was so much more than it had been described. The cabin wasn’t over decorated with clutter, the furniture was in good repair and it just felt completely comfortable inside. The property is well maintained. It has snowed pretty heavily our second night there and management was out clearing the roads late that night to make travel easy the next day. If you’ve ever looked for a quiet secluded cabin that only 20 mins from things to do in any direction, this is the place for you. We absolutely loved it and I have plans on going back many times in different seasons.
+Absolutely lovely and spotless accomodations! Loved loved loved!

10.0“A beautiful way to experience fall in Vermont”
+We stayed in Cabin 4 which was gorgeous and sparkling clean inside and out. It has a fabulous porch with 4 rocking chairs that face the woods. The furniture is all very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchen appliances and accessories. The location is quiet and peaceful with its own trails for hiking, 1 even has a waterfall! We loved that it’s pet friendly and we’re able to bring our pup with us on vacation! A binder is provided in each cabin listing names and locations of local grocery stores and restaurant suggestions which was super helpful. Each cabin has a coded key pad lock which eliminates having to keep track of any house keys or cards. We had no issues with the free WiFi and the Direct TV service offered several channels. Having our own washer and dryer was a huge bonus and laundry soap was provided. It was great to go home with very few dirty clothes!
−This is certainly not a complaint but more of an FYI. The location is very remote which is great if you’re looking to get away from everything for a while but not so great if you’re wanting to go back and forth to Stowe’s restaurants and attractions - it’s about a half an hour away via very dark Vermont country roads and Route 100. Make sure that you bring food with you for meals on a Monday, or make a plan to go to the grocery store when you arrive as pretty much none of the local (to the cabin, in Morrisville) restaurants are open.
