+The staff were exceptional! The location was my main concern. We were 2 blocks from fine dining at Nonna's and 2 more blocks to the Gillioz theater. The room was minimal but comfortable. The bed was comfortable and clean. I would stay there again if I was in the area.
−The espresso machine didn't work so we had regular coffee. There was residual noise from the bar till after 1 pm and there was a fire alarm at 6:30 in the morning due to an exit door issue. Thankfully the alarm was false but our sleeping in was over.

“Cozy and close to most of what I wanted to do.”
+Location downtown is perfect, loved that it had its own parking as well. Stayed at the Vandivort last trip to Springfield and parking was a nightmare at certain points.
−I’m never a fan of hotel pillows and the mattress was a little thin for my liking. I’m a bigger guy and need a little more padding but that’s more of a me issue than a you issue I suppose.

+The beds were super comfortable. Staff was very pleasant.
−Even though the hotel was pet friendly they didn't have a place for the dog to releve themselves
