“Heartwarming Hospitality”
+A Must-Stay in Srinagar! 🌟 Without a doubt, choose Moustache Srinagar for a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, cozy, and has a lovely atmosphere. Although it is located a little inside the market, there’s absolutely no need to worry, as they provide auto services to take you wherever you want to go. The host is extremely humble, welcoming, and helpful, making the entire experience even more special. The food is absolutely delicious, too! Overall, everything about the stay was amazing , from the beautiful property and warm hospitality to the tasty food. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Srinagar. You won’t regret choosing this place! ❤️

“Overpriced for its basic facilities”
+The family is willing to cook meals for you as per your taste, though we did find some items a little overpriced considering they were so basic. You get to experience a simple Kashmiri home and interact with the family members who are quite warm.
−The location, although geographically not far from Dal Lake, involves a lot of turns through narrow lanes and this makes the commute quite a hassle. Even if you choose to walk, it's a constant upward gradient. The room is rather stuffy and the windows basically open into the walls of the neighbouring houses. The power situation is not great and though they have an inverter, the fan did not run in our room on one of the nights because of power failure. Even the plug points next to the bed don't run on the inverter. I also found it unreasonable that they charged us double for the mineral water bottles even though the stay is a very simple one in the heart of Srinagar. In fact we were charged MRP for packaged mineral water at the relatively high end Kashmir Trout restaurant in Srinagar whereas Moustache charged us double for the same bottle. But they do have a water purifier where you can refill your bottles. In terms of the general vibe of the place, the approach road and the facilities in the room, they are surely overpriced.

+Excellent stay! I had a wonderful experience staying here. The hostel was very clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help with travel tips and local recommendations. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore Srinagar. The common areas were great for meeting other travelers, and the overall vibe felt safe and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this hostel to solo travelers and backpackers visiting Kashmir. Looking forward to staying here again!
