+It was fairly close to the town center of newcastle only a 15-20min walk, it was very welcoming and if you paid for a private bathroom it’s also very clean and more private
−on my last night there, there was 2 loud bangs on the door of either the front door or the shared bathroom which was unsettling

“Just DON'T. Look at the photos!”

−The place is a dirty sh#thole and not fit for paying guests! The entrance is through a smelly kitchen and when we got to our room (6), it got worse. Heavilly stained and dirty carpets that permiate stale cigarette smoke and the ensuite bathroom is quite frankly, a health hazard with Black mould all over the ceiling and around the shower tray and towel rail hanging off the wall. Having stayed in 100's of B&B's, this is by far the worst. On arrival, we desperately tried to call Jonathan the host by calling the given phone number and option for current bookings, on 3 occasions leaving voice mails to call us urgently. No reply! We then messaged via Booking.com twice and emailed. NB: after 3 days, still no reply! We booked this place at short notice due to a family funeral and really didn't have time to fight for a refund or search for alternative accomodation. After checking out after 3 days, we rang again, this time opting for 'new bookings' and as expected, got a reply. Was told they'd look at our messages, voicemails and emails in the next 5 days and get back to us!!!! Maybe they'll get back sooner after reading this but, we won't hold our breath as this was all in the voicemails an
