+The hotel’s location is also convenient, as Mawanella town is within walking distance, which is a definite advantage. On a positive note, the air conditioning worked well throughout our stay. −Disappointing Experience at Mahoya Hotel - Facilities Not as Advertised My husband booked a six-night stay at Mahoya Hotel based on the information provided about the facilities, particularly the availability of a microwave and Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, as several essential facilities were either unavailable or not provided as expected. My husband has a spice allergy, so we brought ready-made meals from the UK to ensure he could eat safely during our stay. We specifically chose this hotel because we were informed that microwave facilities were available. However, upon arrival, when we asked to use a microwave to heat our meals, we were told that it was broken and had been sent for repair. Despite staying for six days, the hotel failed to provide an alternative microwave or any solution. This caused considerable inconvenience and concern, particularly given the importance of managing my husband’s food allergy. The Wi-Fi situation was equally frustrating. There was no Wi-Fi access in our room, and when we raised the issue, we were told that UK mobile phones could not connect to the hotel’s Wi-Fi. This explanation was misleading and unhelpful. W

+Mount view has no view 😂 It's literally located in the city centre. Apart from that the stay staff and service is good. Mrs. Vijitha provided me a very good service and gave me goods to make my dinner .

+Excellent stay at Mount View Inn with perfect walkable distance to the sights in Kandy. Morris was so great to us and went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and smooth. A perfect spot if you are passing through Kandy as it’s so close to the train station too!

“A nice convenient stay.”
+A great location and I am a repeat stayer. Staff is very cooperative. The value for money is significant. Highly recommended. They attend to the details over whatever is brought to their notice. Also, it is a peaceful place and excellent for a holiday.
