“Way above expectations”
+Fun decor, clean, comfy, great location by everything. Had a fridge/freezer coffee machine and microwave, as well as a huge tv and soft bed. Felt safe staying there as two females.
−A little bright in the morning because the window blinds weren't blackout curtains, but nothing I couldn't fix by flipping to the other side in bed. The door key was sort of hard to figure out but once you do it feels secure.

“My usual place, but bad first night this time”
+I have stayed at this place over the years, and like it. Good location: I can walk downtown,there is a section that goes under the railroad tracks, which might feel sketchy for a woman at night. Anyways, there's now a food cart area down the block, and some other restaurants around the immediate area. I've usually had great stays here, though see below.
−I also request a quiet room, on the second floor. And I specifically always say, 'Please not loud tvs or dogs next to me.' But this time I got put above this sketchy dude who was cranking his tv. I went to the front desk, and asked them to move me: the place was mostly empty, plenty of other rooms, which I've stayed in before. But the ladies working that night just would not move me. I tried knocking on the guy's door, but he was holed up not answering. I had earplugs in and pillows over my head, but didn't sleep until sometime around midnight or one when the dude finally turned off his tv. The next morning I went back to the front desk and talked to the patriarch of the family about the problem. He was cool. He almost immediately moved me, and we went down to talk to the dude, who was not pleasant. He just seemed like he was pulling a 'Leaving Las Vegas' deal, window shades drawn the whole time. So that was useless, but I felt vindicated. So, after that, my stay we good, like other times: but that first night sucked. And I just don't get it: there were 40 empty room, why did they stack a bunch of us all together? They should stagger their guest with room in between, and the sketch

“Comfortable and excellent value for travelers”
+Clean room, comfortable bed, coffee, internet great TV, microwave, amazing bathtub, fluffy towels and overall, very clean. Excellent owners. Great value for the night of travel.
−My one discomfort was the outdoor light fixture outside our window it was so bright. I appreciate the safety intention and would not change that, But I would have liked room darkening curtains; then all would be excellent

+The location is close to many many shops and restaurants. The room is comfortable, a little small but it was good enough for me and the prices exceptional
−I wanted to use my laptop to get some work done but no desk or any kind of area to do that kind of work comfortably.
