“Beautiful hotel, location and scenery”
+Beautiful Hotel, room was fantastic and the breakfast was up there with best I've ever had. Staff were very welcoming.
−There wasn't anything that I didn't like, the weather was mixed but beautiful scenery made up for that

+The hotel is ideally placed right in the centre of Grasmere. The staff are lovely, attentive and genuinely happy to help We've been twice now and in different rooms and it was really clean with all you need and a really relaxed atmosphere and both were nice and spacious. We have stayed in quite a few hotels in Grasmere and it is now our favourite especially when you know everything is organic from the food to the soap's and loo roll. We would love to go back soon.

+Located in the beautiful quiet village of Grasmere- the place itself was very peaceful, only sounds you could hear were birds and rain outside. Walking distance to local cafes and restaurants, aswell as a few shops and of course, The Grasmere Gingerbread Shop. Staff were very friendly, food was lovely. We liked how everything in the building from furniture to decor was chosen not only to support their environmentally friendly values, but they used local suppliers/businesses.
−Sound can travel (could hear neighbours in the next room). Even though the bed was comfortable, it was very high- had to literally climb up to get into it.

−To provide evening meals as well! The breakfasts at Moss Grove were by far the best food we had in Grasmere.

“A lovely stay”
+We had a room with a private balcony and a spa bath. It’s well located near a lovely trail . Big thanks to the great service from the breakfast team, - a lovely young lady who was tirelessly preparing and topping up the buffet . Many lovely touches

“A relaxing and comfortable place of calm in a gorgeous setting.”
+The hotel is perfectly situated in Grasmere and is a stone‘s throw away from Wordsworth‘s grave (as well as the Gingerbread shop in the old school house). The room I stayed in was enormous as was its double bed which was exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast in the morning, a full compliment of fresh croissants, mueslis, and a full English with excellent Cumberland sausages, was fantastic too. The car parking was a welcome bonus. I hope to stay there again.

“Excellent!”
+The hotel is located right in the centre of Grasmere village with all amenities on the doorstep. I had a large, very comfortable room with a spacious bathroom. The breakfast was special with healthy organic ingredients.
−Parking on the premises is limited. The hotel does not serve dinners so evening meals need to sought elsewhere.
