“I would definitely come back, but stay on the first floor if possible.”
+The location, cleanliness and accommodating staff. The breakfast was also amazing!
−The not mentioning that my room was on the third floor without a lift. Also, low ceiling. I’m 5’3 and it was fine for me. A tall person would be uncomfortable.

+Brilliant location in the heart of the old town. Beautiful free standing bath. Lovely property with good lounge area downstairs. Well decorated and maintained.
−The window catch was broken in the bedroom meaning it was not really possible to leave it open at night which made it very hot and stuffy as the room was in the attic. Not a big deal but something that needs fixing.

“Beautifully located, well designed and cheerful and welcoming staff.”
+Everyone we met were welcoming and friendly which was really nice. The room was very clean and the breakfast room spacious and delightful, a real surprise for us! Room and particularly the breakfast room beautifully designed and a good layout, good quality and comfortable facilities, very well thought out. Breakfast itself was superb and arrived quickly, we were well attended and made to feel welcome each morning. The choice for breakfast was spot on and flexible too (for us "awkward" vegetarians). It was nice to discover the lounge area in the breakfast room which would be most welcome on a wet day for reading and relaxing. The location is perfect for access to the Old Town and George Street shops - perfect! My wife is a wheelchair user but has some walking mobility, there are some slightly awkward small steps to deal with at the entrance and a heavy gate to manage so accessibility is limited.
−We had the ground floor room which was very nice but quite small though and better used as a base than it would be for spending any time in. We were out most of the time though so it was just a bit of tv and then some sleep. Our first night we had some strange scraping noises like a trolley below in the courtyard accompanied by a man's deep voice and what sounded like some furniture assembly going on for some time in the early hours of the morning, very strange? Second nice was nice, quiet and peaceful though.
