+The manager showed excellent hospitality and made me comfortable as well as arranging a taxi on short notice early in the morning. I will stay here again if I come back to srinagar, an excellent experience.

“Excellent value for money”
+The ower Sajid is very friendly and helpful, nice to talk to. The location is good, in a quiet area, close to the lake and many local restaurants. The room was excellent for the price, with a reasonable amount of space, bathroom with hot water and quite quick WiFi. The price (around 750 rs. per night) is really exceptional. I liked this homestay and if I come back to Srinagar, I would stay here again.
−The bed was really hard, even by Indian standards.

“I am posting what we experienced.”
+Reasonable charges of the rooms and they were clean......in one room mattress was comfortable but in the other one it was bare Hard sheet. Manager of the property was very cooperative person.
−One of the mattress was bare Hard sheet , though they provided soft mattress to put on them..... pillows were also very hard. And the lastly there were a lot of mosquitoes and rooms were missing mosquito screen in the windows....we booked two rooms for two nights and none of us couldn't sleep properly because of the mosquitoes.....I would like to recommend the property owner to have these mosquito screen installed in the rooms. Also missing a wardrobe or a table chair atleast.

“Very good stay at cheap price”
+The stay was good and available at a cheap price. Had geyser, fans and towels. You can get drinking water from them. Overall a very nice property near to Dal lake.
−Power cut. But in all of Kashmir power cuts were there. So we had to manage with it.

−Only negative is power cuts. But it was in all of Kashmir so had to deal with it.

+I had initially booked only one night at Moonlight Homestay in Srinagar, near Dal Lake Gate No. 1, but my experience there was so comfortable and heartwarming that I ended up staying another day as well. I reached the homestay in the evening, around 7 PM. Since I was travelling alone in Srinagar for the first time, I was naturally a little nervous and skeptical. But the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and safe. There is a young boy there named Suhail who manages most of the arrangements and running around. He is an extremely sweet, caring, and helpful person. That very evening, he offered to take me around for nearby sightseeing. Initially I was hesitant because I was alone, but he reassured me and everything felt completely safe and genuine. He took me around, clicked beautiful pictures for me, and safely brought me back. The food at the homestay was also wonderful and very reasonably priced. I got to enjoy authentic Kashmiri dishes like Gustaba, Rishta, and Kebabs. Breakfast included bread omelette and tea, and one morning they even served traditional Kashmiri bread, which I really enjoyed. The owner and Suhail were both extremely accommodating.
