+This property is a hidden gem. It is like a retreat. The owners are absolutely lovely people who take pride in their B&B. The cottage is tastefully decorated, the ambience is exceptional and views spectacular. We will return.

+Wow! This b&b cottage rates up there and better than many places we have stayed in Australia & O.S. The friendly welcome from Jill was wonderful and her explanation of all the cottage offered was extremely helpful. We were only there one night but you can see the high standard Jill sets, from the furnishings, bedroom bedding and decor, kitchen and appliances including a continental breakfast. This would be top of the list for value for money anywhere. Thank you Jill for a very comfortable night.

“Quiet accommodation with a country atmosphere perfect for a break when on the move.”
+Excellent accommodation for a night stop on way from Brisbane to Rockhampton.Everything was thought of from breakfast to good quality bedding.Plenty of appliances but not needed for an overnight stay.

“Great place for a stopover. Would certainly want to stay again.”
+This property is amazing and far exceeded our expectations. It’s a totally self contained unit that is furnished to a high standard. It’s extremely comfortable and I had the best nights sleep. It has everything you would need eg microwave, toaster, jug, washing machine etc. Lovely breakfast supplied too, what’s not to like. Loved seeing all the wallabies on the way in.

“A gorgeous place to stop for a day or two and enjoy Chiders and surrounding area.”
+We loved our night stopover at Montrose Cottage. We arrived late, but the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was gorgeous and very spacious with everything you needed including washing machine and dryer in the large bathroom. The fridge was stocked with lovely breakfast items and there was cereals, coffee, tea etc also available. The little breakfast spot looked out to the mountains, a great view!

“Quiet and relaxing”
+Beautifully decorated comfortable two roomed apartment with dining venues inside and out and a fully equipped camp style outdoor kitchen and wood fire burner. Continental Breakfast was adequate. Country property with wallabies roaming the garden, Congenial hosts
−Place ws fine but because of a long dark drive way and unlit unfamiliar roads we chose not to go into town for dinner but cooked our own
