“Pros and cons.”
+Well located for a few local walks. Owner provided recommendations of walks, places and beaches to visit. Parking at the property entrance. Room clean.
−Room (deluxe double) was smaller and dimmer than in marketing photos, no window except (unscreened) door. Most drawers filled with excess bedding so little storage. Outside area could do with being swept occasionally. Pool had been affected by discoloration and was unavailable on first day. Had to clean our outdoor table before dining outside - owner did give me a cloth though. (The other rooms looked more spacious and brighter)

“magical”
+it is fantastic place, magical and beautiful, with picturesque view high in the mountains, so there is not too hot, very close to trekkings and nice villages and close to gorgeous beaches it was fantastic relax at the pool and at the terrace
−small and simple breakfast will be very nice :) but of course not necessary and it is really high in the mountains, without my husband - great driver I would never have gotten there

“Absolutely fantastic”
+Absolutely fantastic property made with style and attention to the details, the very unique design and nature around, we had a feeling that the place has its soul. Lina, the co-owner of the place is a very kind and welcoming person. Despite the fact, that the hosts live next door you don’t feel pressure of doing something wrong or being watched. Exactly the opposite, there was a feeling of hospitality. We’d definitely come back.

+A stunning panoramic view, a charming room with vintage furniture, and a great, clean swimming pool with beautiful sun loungers. We stayed for a couple of nights and happened to arrive during a pool party organised by the hosts, which was unexpected and really fun. It was also great that the property is dog-friendly. We didn’t have to find someone to look after our dog, so we brought her with us, relaxed, and had a wonderful time.
−Our room did not have a kitchen, so we used the shared kitchen. Unfortunately, it was not very clean. The kettle was very greasy and dirty, and the bin had an unpleasant mouldy smell

“Prachtig uitzicht om volledig tot rust te komen”
+De locatie en ambiance zijn echt top als je rust zoekt. De bedden zijn goed en de kamer is ruim met zitplekjes. Je kan gebruik maken van de openbare keuken. De accommodatie is redelijk groot opgezet en heeft veel plekjes waar je kan genieten van het uitzicht.
−Er was nauwelijks tot geen contact met de hosts waardoor we ons vooral aan het begin niet welkom voelde. Onze kamer is geen enkele dag schoongemaakt en onze kamer grensde aan een andere kamer dmv een houten deur, waardoor je veel hoorde vanuit de andere kamer. Het zwembad is aan de koude kant, waardoor je niet zomaar gaat zwemmen.

“Tolle Unterkunft abseits vom großen Rummeln. Gutes Basislager für Ausflüge an verschiedene Strände oder in die Höhenzuge”
+Ruhig, aber gut erreichbar. Es gibt 3 Wohneinheiten und der Eigentümer wohnt auch auf dem Gelände. Die Zimmer waren gut und die Betten waren bequem. Waschmaschine vorhanden, Pool und Gartenanlage ist gut. Monchique ist in ca. 5-10Min mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Dort gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants usw.. Strände im Süden oder im Westen sind in 40-50 Min auch gut erreichbar und nachmittags kann man dann im Pool den Tag ausklingen lassen
−Unsere Wohneinheit war ohne Küche (Aber: Wir hatten eine Aussenküche mit Kühlschrank, Mirkowelle und Ofen am Haus der Eigentümer. Die anderen Wohneinheiten haben jeweils eigene Küchen)

“Mooie rustige locatie met een prachtig zwembad. Comfortabele studio.”
+De locatie en het uitzicht was super. De studio was groot en comfortabel. Heel goed geslapen.
−Sommige gemeenschappelijke delen, zoals de trappen van de kamers naar het zwembad hadden wat verzorgder kunnen zijn. De badkamer is aan de kleine kant. Gelukkig konden we ons toiletgerief kwijt op de kast in de gang.
