“Wonderful!! We will definitely book again!!”
+The room was clean and comfortable and an easy walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, seafood market and hotel. We will definitely book at the Monaco again as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
−Nothing....They were renovating the pool area and it wasn't accessible at this time but the discounted price of the room and the location definitely made up for this.

+The location was exceptional. Beautiful water views and everything we wanted within walking distance
−We stayed while renovations were underway so we weren't able to use the pool or other facilities. We knew this though, as the communication was excellent. We would love to come again when we can enjoy the pool as well.

“Do better”
+The view
−We paid a significant amount of money to stay at this property, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Firstly, the air conditioners in the bedrooms were broken, which we were not informed about prior to booking or paying. We attempted to contact reception multiple times to discuss this but received no answer. However, the most concerning issue was finding PILLS underneath our bed! This is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the cleanliness and safety of the property. Thankfully, we were the ones who found them, but imagine if a family with a baby or young child had stayed in that room and discovered them instead. The consequences could have been devastating. For the amount of money charged, you would expect a much higher standard of cleanliness, safety and customer service. Do better. This is not just poor housekeeping; it’s a serious safety concern that should never have happened. Extremely disappointing!

“A wonderful apartment with sensational views in the centre of town and close to the beach. But...”
+A great location in the middle of town, near cafes, etc, and close to the beach. The view from the apartment was sensational.
−That we were required - despite paying for the full stay upfront - to pre-authorise a $300 bond before checking in. To be fair, this step is one that we would have disliked at any establishment we stay at. It always feels like we are being treated as if we were 'trouble-makers'. We tend to return to those who make us feel like valued guests. Would we return for a repeat stay? Absolutely. But probably not at the rate we paid. It was quite expensive.
