“A truly beautiful offering with superb and heartwarming hosting and food”
+Andrew and Lee are truly caring and attentive hosts. I loved the welcoming attitude and the quality of pub/restaurant. Lee couldn’t have done more to make me feel welcome and Andrew kindly introduced himself and welcomed me with a handshake which cemented their natural efforts to make this a very homely and welcoming stay - I felt more than guest here, and very much like I was being welcomed into their home - a true touch of class and attentiveness I rarely get these days when I travel. Food was excellent. I had the Norwegian meatballs with a side of creamed spinach and Andrew cooked this to perfection, drawing on his Norwegian heritage. The food was prompt and hot and tasted fantastic. They’ve done an exceptional job here and I will definitely return with my family to eat here again. The shower was powerful and hot. The bed was large and comfortable. They also provided high quality amenities on arrival. It was clean and very well presented. I loved that they provided a Dyson hot and cool fan to assist with their customers personal temperature requirements.
−I don’t like this statement - what didn’t I like about the property. This is not constructive. From an advisory perspective and purely in regard to my opinions/suggestions of things I noticed that they could improve, I would look to upgrade the door to the room to block light and noise from the communal hallway - possibly consider a specific fire door but as a minimum I’d consider insulation to the line the door. I would also consider measures to reduce the noise the small fridge makes in the hallway - this, again, is personal as I’m a light sleeper when away from home, and just noticed it running its refrigeration cycle. They’ve done extremely well to create a lovely room, but the en-suite and a little tired in places. If they were to touch-up the finishes of some of the woodwork and the silicone/grouting (I would replace the wood under the shower door with a new plastic shower tray riser pack/fascia) this would enhance this finish and its physical appearance. This will continue to deteriorate over time and rot the wood, which would lessen the quality of the job Lee and Andrew have done which they don’t deserve given how excellent the offering is they’ve created. “Great weekend break, nice accommodation and nice food and drink in the restaurant.”
+The flat has all usual amenities but there's an element of personalisation to make it homely. Very comfortable with the additional pizza oven and barbecue area outside.

“Perfect weekend, perfect accommodation, perfect location for a perfect wedding!”
+The accommodation was so quaint and pretty, perfect for our party of 5 and so close to the wedding venue! The hosts were really accommodating too and really friendly.

“A beautiful, tranquil and welcoming place to stay.”
+Monique and Kit were wonderful hosts and they have created such a beautiful and welcoming space. We were only in the area for one night to attend a wedding nearby but we wished we could have stayed longer! We opted for the cooked breakfast (cooked to order by Kit) which was superb, and served in their stunning garden room.
