+Loved the place and the vibe. Lovely hosts and very backpacker friendly vibes in a place overlooking the Kanchendzonga! Will come back soon for longer.

“Friendly, sociable, comfortable hostel with great views”
+If peace and views are what you're after in a hostel, you won't find a better location in the Pelling area. Is it a bit of a trek to get to? Yes. Is that trek worth it? Absolutely yes!! Take a taxi from town if you need to, but do stay here. Beds are super-comfortable, rooms are spotlessly clean, the hot water really is hot. But the cherry on the cake of this lovely spot is without doubt the staff - they were kind, considerate & friendly and incredibly helpful from before I arrived to the moment I left, and made sure all guests felt welcome and at home.
−It wasn't the fault of the hostel but due to network issues there was no wifi during my stay (if you have a Jio sim it works well at the hostel, but Airtel is a bit patchy in all of Sikkim). Hopefully the technician will fix it soon! I have balance/proprioception issues so found access to the hostel's location a little tricky, but that's not the hostel's fault, and I did find the effort completely worth it! I'm just mentioning it in case accessibility is a concern for anyone; taxis are available if you don't want to walk! When it was time to leave the staff were so wonderful in helping me get a shared taxi that came directly to the hostel so I didn't have to climb the hill with my backpack - in fact they even carried my bag to the taxi which was incredibly sweet and completely on-brand for how well I was treated for my entire stay! So none of this is actually negative at all!

+Couldn't have asked for anything better ! I stayed here for 4 days and 3 nights in mid April and I have to say, this is probably one of the best location I have had a chance to stay at. The views, the food, THE HOSTS, Deepesh, Arun, Anmol, Nimesh all the some of the kindest and sweetest people you'll ever meet. You get the most amazing food and hangouts when you're with them ;) It offers some of THE best views of the Kanchenjunga range pelling has to offer. It's extremely value for money. I'll definitely come back to experience Mochilero Ostello once again. Cheers to the whole team !

“Friendly vibes, nice location and great view of the Mt. Kanchenjunga”
+I chose to stay at the Mochilero Ostello mainly because of the cool name, good reviews and decent prices - I ended up staying for my entire stay in Sikkim because Nimesh and his team are so welcoming, kind, and trustworthy. The place felt clean, safe and Quiet! Ask Nimesh for trekking reccomendations! I stayed in their dorm room, but their private rooms at MO 2.0 is nice as well.
