“Comfortable & friendly place to stay in Mindo”
+I have stayed at this hostel before. They have expanded and have several new rooms, modern and clean. They are a great value for the price, and the location is great: near the river and a short walk into the main part of town. Staff is always friendly and helpful. (Bonus: Go to the arepa restaurant next door for the best meal in town!)

“Nice stay”
+Really nice people. Quiet. Comfy rooms and a nice bathroom. Good value for what you can get in mindo and a 15min walk from town. Free drinking water
−There was a sensor light that kept going off waking us up but when I asked him he showed me where the switch was so was fine! Otherwise no issues :)

“No hard feelings but I wouldn't stay again”
+The room was located in walking distance to the restaurants and some activities. The location offers some tours (the atv tour was good). The bathroom was fairly clean.
−The sheets did not smell clean and had alot of hair from a previous user. The replacement sheets were not convincingly fresh either, and also had hair on them. The old man in the activities room was very obnoxious towards me and asked me why I was standing on the premises (the premises i was paying to stay on - I was heading out to get food). If you are a person of colour travelling Ecuador, you will understand more than most (iykyk).

“Luis and Fernanda were always ready to assist me, whether it was getting a taxi or giving me advice. They gave me space,”
+Great location for heading to the waterfalls or butterfly farm. Just outside of the Pueblo, so I felt safe walking to and from even when it was dark.
−Sometimes the neighbor dogs have parties at night, and the barking makes it hard to sleep.

“Good quiet location. Friendly family”
+Lovely family who also run a excursion business, so you are able to get very good advice re: trips in the local area. Well located for town and hills (although is a little walk from both) Availability of water filter Clean Basic facilities

“Nice place in a good location”
+Nice room with good hot water shower in a good location to access everything in Mindo. It is a short walk from the main bus stop. It was quiet when we were there and you can hear the river and see birds/butterflies from the room.
−No water refill and we were told there weren’t any in town but many of the tour operators have water refill.

“Ideal accommodation”
+The owner was very welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was just a short walk from the village centre.
−Nothing - all good.
