“Relaxation and care from beginning to end.”
+It all starts at arrival: car is parked for you and you get your slippers to walk to the room, a member of staff helping you out and explaining all. The bathing was great, in the room and in the public part. Great views of the mountain, changing colors all the time. And dinner… so amazing. We loved it. All the courses, the way it was presented, all in the privacy of our own dining room. The breakfast next day was also super special. More relaxed and Japanese is almost not possible.
−Nothing! All was more than expected. Remember: take your time to enjoy all. From welcome tea to farewell coffee.

“Amazing ryokan stay! I regret booking only one night!”
+I am extremely happy with my stay at Minakamisansou. I loved every minute I spend there, and I regret booking only one night. The place was very relaxing, and the private bath inside the room was all I needed! The window of the bath opens, so you can see the nature and enjoy fresh air while soaking in the hot water. I booked a Japanese-style room, as I wanted to have a more traditional stay. It did not disappoint, and we were able to enjoy the tatami floors, the kotatsu and the futon. The amenities included were all you would need! Both dinner and breakfast are full courses with small plates. Some were too experimental for us, but overall we enjoyed most of it. The service was outstanding despite the language barrier, and they were absolutely trying (either google, or repeating the information and gesturing). Thank you!

“An incredible experience of peace and calmness.”
+Everything comes together to make a beautiful and peaceful experience. The staff was very friendly and nice, like all of Japan, along with the attention to detail. The view follows very well the saying that life imitates art.
−Everything was lovely.
