“very sad”
+Breakfast is ok. Staff was helpful and warm hearted.
−The safety conditions around this hotel, especially Gallagher convention center nearby is very very bad. Two of my cellphones were robbed there and police asked tips for case number and when I located my phone, police refused to help me. I would never come back to this dangerous city any more. It brings shame to this beautiful city.

“Fair”
+Convenient location for the purpose of my trip
−No adapter was available to charge my phone and laptop. No carpet in the bedroom; they should provide at least a small size next to the bed

“Overall a pleasant experience but the facility is a bit dated now. Needs an upgrade.”
+Location Catered for our request for a fridge in the room. Fresh towels every day.
−The beds are not worn and sagging. The bath is old and discolored with lots of scratches. Time for a new one!

“Unusual layout for a hotel, much better in daylight”
+Location was convenient for Grand Central airport. Rooms were nice and big. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great coffee at reception.
−Student hostel style accommodation (surrounded by student dorm blocks). No lift (not really a problem for us but could have been if we'd had lots of luggage or for elderly guests).

“Wonderful Stay (and Food) at the Midrand Conference Centre”
+When arriving at the Midrand Conference Centre, I was welcomed by such friendly and helpful staff, which immediately made me feel at home. I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and I can honestly say it was the best food I had during my stay in Johannesburg. The room was absolutely lovely , spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The gardens were especially peaceful and stunning, creating such a relaxing atmosphere that can truly be enjoyed in both summer and winter. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, comfortable, and memorable stay.
−Everything was lovely.

“Was great and memorable experience.”
+The staff were supper helpful and nice arranging for the breakfast to be puked up as take away. Rooms were clean and well maintained.
−Not dislikes but personal preferences. The bed was harder than expected. The tv is slightly angled up and the toilet seat sifts to the left.
