“Very basic accommodation, but if location is priority then this is a 10/10 location.”
+The property was very well located just a 5 minute walk from everything in old town. There was a grocery store also that was at a 2-3 minute walk.
−We had booked three rooms for 6 of us and each room was different. One the bathroom was extra tiny, one did not have blackout curtains and one was really tiny. The rooms were cleaned but none of the amenities in the room like tea etc were replenished and each room had different things lying - some had sugar some didn’t, along with that even the used cups were not changed or cleaned on one of the days.

“Definitely recommend!”
+The Metropole sits right in the city of Split and takes just a couple minutes to any restaurant in the center. It was clean and and the staff was helpful as well. We encountered a problem with the toilet seat in our room which was fixed very fast. So I can totally recommend!
−There are a couple stairs up to the Metropole floor. To keep in mind. :)

“Viejo …”

“Excellent hotel! We had perfect vacations there and definitely would come back! Split itself is full of treasures so hig”
+Exellent hotel. We stayed a week in August. The hotel locates very close to old town, in the charming historical building with marble stairs high ceilings and big windows. The huge bathroom had two windows and bedroom was with balcony. Because our room faced north so we could sleep with open windows. But good AC is included. The furniture was great and wooden with vintage looking drawers that added the elegant mood to the room. There was a really nice and skilled wall painting above the bed. The balcony included a table and chairs so was great to have breakfast and afternoon tea there. The administration of hotel was excellent. Manager was replying immediately and helped with any questions. The location is really central. Many beaches in walking distance (25-35 minutes). Highly recommend this hotel!
−The fridge in room was not cold enough. It’s good for fruits and vegetables but not for dairy or meat.
