“Overpriced, old, neglected rooms, and non-existent service, nowhere near an 8.3 rating.”
+The location is truly unbeatable if you want to be right in the city center. Also, a shout-out to the housekeeping team, the room was cleaned every single day and nothing was stolen (this added +1 point to my score)
−I paid a premium for this hotel over apartments to avoid potential issues, but it was worse in every way: No private parking, paid street parking only, and finding an empty spot was a problem every single day. Tiny, ancient, and in desperate need of maintenance. The heating didn't work (had to run the AC to reduce humidity), the mattress was uncomfortable, towels had holes, everything squeaked, doors barely opened or closed, and even the stairs felt like they were falling apart. The list of issues just goes on. The main issue: The shower drain was broken, flooding the bathroom every time. I reported it to reception, but they ignored it for three full days. Stuff happens, but for an 8.3-rated hotel that charges above-average rates, this total lack of basic maintenance and customer care is unacceptable.

+I can’t really add much to the existing reviews: friendly staff, an excellent location right in the heart of the city centre, with everything within walking distance; a quiet, peaceful hotel in an old building, where, of course, you can occasionally hear noise coming from the corridor. Breakfast isn’t a buffet; instead, you can choose from five or six different options, which are prepared quickly. In October, the radiator wasn’t working yet, but I was still able to warm up the room at night using the air-conditioning.

+.Locatia, curatenia.

“Kort verblijf stadshotel.”
+Basic, schoon hotel. Heel goede prijs/kwaliteit-verhouding. Prima locatie. Half uurtje lopen vanaf het station.
