+Pietro and Sara were really friendly and helpful, they were happy to chat in slow Italian with my husband who is learning Italian. Nice to have breakfast and coffee in the morning. There were snacks available all the time and a small bottle of wine in the room which was a lovely touch. The place is only 10 mins walk from the train station and to the Colosseum, and from there other sights. The shower was strong and the bed comfortable. Our room and bathroom were of a good size. So happy all round :)
−The weather was super hot and the air-conditioning was welcome but it struggled to totally cool the room, but we were glad we had it. There is some street traffic noise but the sound proofing from the windows was excellent.

“Lovely room.”
+Merulana is the perfect solution if you are trying to find a good reasonable solution in Rome, in a very nice and safe area, 15 minute walk from the Coliseum, and closer to train stations, and other important spots. Sara was great!

“It is not a hotel, but a B&B. Not recommended during the summer due to the air conditioning not working properly”
+The property is in a very lovely neighborhood and close to termini station. The staff is very nice and attentive
−The air conditioning was not enough to get by. It was extremely hot outside and I understand this is not the property’s fault, however the room was never cool enough no matter how low we set the AC unit. We had to blast our faces with our little portable fans all night and at all moments that we were in the room just to stop sweating, not even to get fresh. The elevator is old (fine, I get that the building is antique) and is very difficult to fit with your luggage. It is a little over 2 feet of width. The beds were not very comfortable.

“Lieu très agréable !”
+Le logement est bien situé et nous avons presque tout fait à pied. Le petit déjeuner pris en commun permet de faire des rencontres internationales et de discuter avec Pietro ou Sara ou Davide, tous très sympathiques.

“Inmejorable. Repetiremos”
+Ubicación perfecta a 5 min del coliseo andando. El trato es inmejorable. Al llegar nos estaban esperando a pesar de llegar antes de la hora del check in. Nos mostró en un mapa los lugares principales a visitar, cómo llegar con el transporte público y un listado de restaurantes recomendados. Están encantados en solventar cualquier duda o petición. La habitación espaciosa con baño privado, las ventanas aíslan super bien del ruido de la calle, y con aire acondicionado. El desayuno bueno y abundante, los cruasanes deliciosos y siempre te atienden con una sonrisa. La verdad es que te sientes como un invitado en casa de un familiar. Lo mejor sin duda el trato cercano. Un 10!
