“Great value for money. I will be back!”
+I had a lovely stay at Maverick. The common and reception areas were really cozy and beautifully decorated for Halloween. The big old building is beautiful and there are lovely chairs to relax in in the common area. My bed was comfortable and the toilet and shower facilities were mostly clean. Michael at the front desk was kind and patient with me and happy to make recommendations. Location is great and there is super easy transport access to all the highlight areas in Budapest.
−I had a top bunk, and being quite a petite person I often struggled quite a lot to get up and down from my bed as the top bunks are unusually high. Also, on the website and on Booking.com it states there is free tea and coffee served all the time. When I got there unfortunately only tea was free - coffee you had to pay for. This put me out a little as I'd factored it into my budget. But otherwise a pleasant stay and I will be back.

+Very close to public transport and value for money if you are a solo traveller. They also organise many fun events and you get to meet new people. Comfortable stay and clean environment.

“Better to book an hotel”
+It is placed somehow central.
−No toilet in every floors. You should leave out the floor in the middle of the night if you need. I was not informed about the towels during the registration. Most worst thing is that they have no lockers in the cabinets for your luggages. If you think that the toilets and bathrooms are as clean as in the photos, you are wrong. The number of seats in the common area remains a funny number when you consider the number of guests. A lot of comfortable seats should be placed instead of a hard chair.

“The perfect place to meet fellow solo travellers and stay. Everything is lovely and well-decorated”
+I loved everything about it: the interior, and the people around - they’re all so friendly, both the guests and the staff - they answer all your questions and really do look after the rooms well; if I could, I’d give it more than 10 out of 10 - next time I’m in Budapest, I’ll definitely be staying here 100 percent
−I loved everything, no complaints

“I think there’s more to this place so go forth and discover”
+It has a modern look, even though the dorm windows are close to the street it’s pretty quiet at night, they hsve security, the curtains in the beds were amazing and blocked out the light
−So I would have rated this place a 9 BUT they give you no information about the property and you just slowly discover things. Like they have a coffee machine with 2 euro drinks. Or the fact they have a KITCHEN. Two days I was desperate to cook food and then just when I was about to leave there it was, hidden in the corner. My own fault for not asking but the front desk is always very busy as it’s big. Like give your guests some INFORMATION! Pls. Oh and I’m 5,2 and the top bunks are too small for me plus rooms are super hot at night
