“Not great in October as surrounding places are closed down for the season”
+This is a very beautiful place and our room was lovely. The bio pool was also lovely.
−Unfortunately in late October everything nearby is completely closed so we couldn't get any food locally at all. The facilities only provide a restaurant which is nice but expensive. Breakfast is provided and was ok. The staff were nice, I would never criticise staff- I feel it is the owners who are responsible for how a place feels, and I am not sure who the owners are and if they are present there or not. It lacked a personal touch. We left 2 nights early. Wouldn't recommend this place in October for a stay longer than 1 or 2 nights unless you are happy to drive to different locations for food and have researched if anywhere within a 45 minute drive will actually be open.

“location excellent, management need to look at staff training, most were not up to the job.”
+The wine tasting experience was exceptional, an informative session the young lady who did the tasting was very knowledgable and informative, the highlight of our stay.
−We had booked a Superior double room, the room we were initially shown was very small, in no way could it be described as 'superior'. Within ten minutes we were back at reception seeking an alternative room, we were shown the only room available, a suite, and this was €190 extra for three nights. At dinner the first evening the service was slow and one waitress was particularly surly. Checkout was a nightmare, they had no clue about our wine tasting, nor the wines we had bought. In the final analysis they waived the supplement for the upgraded room,

+We absolutely loved our time spent here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The restaurant offers delicious local Pugliese food that you shouldn't miss. We also loved the wines they produce and we even found one of our absolute favorite wines there:) It’s also just a 10-minute drive to a wonderful beach. It was simply too nice and peaceful to leave!
