“Maria’s Place is in a perfect location in Korcula’s Old Town. Communication is good but beware of 2 flights of stairs in”
+Maria’s Place is in a wonderful location, close to a little beach and a few minutes’ walk to everything in Korcula Old Town. Communication and directions were really good. Loved our little balcony with its superb views.
−Not a fan of the satin sheets and polyester bedspread! Also could be a bit noisy at night because it is among little wine bars.

“Cute room for a stay in the heart of the old city.”
+Located right in the heart of the old city. Made arrangements online for the room with short notice and was able to check in with no problem. Price was very reasonable, especially considering the location. Room was clean and efficient.

+Fantastic location, lovely room with own bathroom, everything clean.
−You could clearly hear the taps & shower in next room being turned on and off and the toilet flushing and clearly hear next door speaking in theory bathroom when I was on mine.

+Location in the old town so close to the cathedral.
−there is an outdoor restaurant close by which had a guitarist singing all evening until 11pm. As a result, I was unable to get an early night's sleep as I had hoped. Also the room was smaller than expected but as I was hardly in it and for only one night it didn't matter. One has to bear in mind that the houses are small in the old town, space is at a premium.

“Shabby, cramped, and wouldn’t stay again”
+The basics are technically there,Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, a nice patio, and everything you need to make the apartment function,but the overall experience was uncomfortable because everything felt very cheap, cramped, and poorly finished. The bedding was particularly unpleasant: the sheets were polyester/fake satin, as were the pillows, and the black-and-gold décor and hanging doorway curtains felt very tacky. The walls and sliding doors were extremely thin, so you could hear right through them. There was barely any space to open luggage, and the tiny cabinet felt so unstable it seemed like it might come off the wall. The A/C immediately started leaking water. It took three towels and until the following day to get it addressed, and we had to turn it off and leave the apartment while it was being fixed. The toilet seat would not stay up, the top fell down. You literally were holding it with your foot to pee or it was resting on your back when you sat. When told about it they said there’s nothing they can do. . Communication was also disappointing,messages were generally ignored unless there was an urgent problem. When we asked for a modest late checkout as a courtesy because of the A/

“Lovely locale.”
+It is in middle of the walled town. So we felt like we were in a great location.
−Our room was not cleaned when we arrived. The night life below our window was out of control. The party below us did not shut down until after 1 am. It was loud music, loud conversation and loud arguments. In the morning there were broken beer bottles on the walk.
