“Not a good choice”
+The location was fine. The facility had or may have potential, it has a homey feel that COULD be a nice rustic motel. However either neglect or lack of concern prevails.
−Having traveled quite a bit, we expected a few of the usual items that are provided. This place had a few sheets left of paper towel in the kitchen. Only a quarter roll of TP in the bathroom and no tissues. There were no supplies anywhere in the room. A phone call to management was not helpful. The only emergency exits were two stores above the ground and no ladders, etc that could be used. For the money, it was a very bad decision.

−The bathroom looked like it wasn't cleaned for YEARS. Old carpet on the floor. And why is the room code the same as the room number? Anyone can open the door!

“Nice spot.”
+Beautiful little cabin with all the amenities including full kitchen. Very clean and comfortable. Close to lots of great sites and great value. Also had outdoor grill and firepit. A few little hiccups with check in but staff did what they could to fix the problems. All worked out in the end. Would stay there again.
−The check in procedure was a little rough. Never received text with room number and door code, but called the number on office door and they were helpful. Booked the cabin for 5 people so was planning on using the couch. No extra sheets or pillows. Took a few calls to get them brought out but they made it before bed.

“Decent place, not overpriced, convenient location and easy to find and navigate to and from.”
+The "Main Street" part of town was 3 minutes down the road, convenience stores and restaurants are there. A Dollar General located another minute down the same road. Everywhere very scenic and picturesque, love that morning mountain air!
−Restaurants could have stayed open a little later, not Maple Leaf Motel's fault.

“Hidden gem!”
+Pleasantly surprised by this little motel. Check in was seamless. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I especially liked the small kitchenette area and included snacks, oatmeal and waters. Price was very reasonable. The motel is a short distance from the Paradox Brewery and the Adirondack high peaks. Overall enjoyed my stay and hope to stay again on future visits to the Adirondacks.

“Always reliable, clean and comfortable.”
+We love the location as it helps us shorten our trip after a long work week. It still places us within 35 minutes of the region we hike in and allows us some great options for dinner/breakfast during our stay.
−Honestly, there is nothing about the accommodations that we don't enjoy. The seats out front, the room, the complimentary snacks for late arrival evenings keep us coming back again and again. We appreciate such a high quality and affordable option in the ADK.
