“best b and b we've stayed in.”
+The lovely Kate has everything spot on, super dog friendly, clean, comfortable, best breakfast ever, cakes in the afternoon, what more can you ask for!
+Maple Bank is a gem of a place. Super location literally 100 yards from a bus stop, which has an hourly bus right through to midnight, with a £2 fare cap! We chose to walk in to Keswick one morning which took about 50 minutes. Check-in was great and informative, outlining options for breakfast for vegetarian & vegan choices. Breakfast was superb with quality ingredients. All freshly made. Room was perfectly equipped and had everything you could need. Great range of local toiletries. Highly recommended spot & will definitely be back.
“Wonderful stay”
+Lovely place to stay. Usually stay in Keswick centre but this place is a gem and I will come here instead. Lovely touches and so nice to have cake every day!! Breakfast was fab. No moans from me.

8.0+Lovely b&b and very welcoming owner and we very much enjoyed our our stay, but did not appreciate being asked to remove dirty tea trays and rubbish from the room, and if we were happy , also to strip the bed and put used towels in a laundry basket !! Surely these services are what we are paying for ?

10.0“Autumn Break”
+The friendliness, the cleanliness, the delicious breakfast AND afternoon cake, plus Lake District products in the bathroom, added together with the amazing beauty of ‘The Lakes’, oh I almost forgot to add how well our Labrador was treated, our four night break could not have been better. All we can say is ‘Thank you’.

10.0+The place is very homely and Kate (the host) made sure that we feel comfortable and make the most of our time by suggesting things to do in the area. It was covid safe and very clean. The property is close to public transport and walking distance to main hiking spots. Also we didn't have pets with us but the house is definitely dog friendly and has all provisions for that. Inclusive breakfast was delicious and with really generous portions, enough to fill up until evening. Would stay there again!
“2 night stay”
+Comfortable guest house, kate messaged 2 days becore we got there to confirm which i thought was lovely. She took her time to get to know us, gave us plenty of advice on what to do in the area. Breakfasts was amazing and plenty of choice. Clean comfortable room, and in the perfect area for walking and so close to keswick. Would stay again!
“A lovely place to stay with gracious hosts”
+What a lovely place to stay!! The room was large, comfortable, and cozy, and the bath was HUGE. We've stayed in hotel rooms smaller than that. Mary and Sean were very gracious hosts and helped us get our luggage up the flight of stairs. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, and Mary had several selections to choose from. Her scrambled eggs with Scottish salmon on toast were my favorite. We stayed three nights and would have stayed longer if our itinerary allowed. Highly recommend this quiet comfortable place to anyone staying in the area. An added bonus to our stay was a Scottish Highland night at the local park with music, Irish dancing, and a great pipe band.

10.0+Lovely hosts, attention to detail, time taken to talk to you and give helpful advise, welcomed our little dog, good location just outside of but within a few minutes walk of the village centre. We were in room 7 top floor facing the back garden. Nice and quiet. We’ve stayed in many guest houses over the years and it’s not often we say we’d return for a second visit but if we were to visit this area again we would definitely stay here.

10.0+The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold foods. The location was outstanding: verv quiet and peaceful for a good sleep, yet only minutes walk from an excellent pub and only minutes drive from Keswick
