“Magnificent location right in front of the ocean!”
+It was amazing waking up every day with such beautiful views, even on rainy days! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Our apartment was well equipped, having a small kitchen was very useful to us throughout our weeklong stay, as we were able to cook sometimes and also enjoy the great food at the on-site restaurant.

+The staff was always friendly and helpful. The facilities were very nice. The food was delicious. The continental breakfast that was included with our stay had yogurt/granola, coffee, juice, and toast with jam. You could also order additional breakfast from the menu (~330mex). The dinner food was yummy too, especially the shrimp tacos, beet salad, and pizza. We really enjoyed having the kitchenette in the room. We also really appreciated the full water dispenser each day so we could keep hydrated without buying a bunch of plastic bottles!
−We would have liked to be able to just add eggs to the continental breakfast for a small fee. The sargasso seaweed was a bummer, but that's obviously not something the hotel could have controlled! The smell was pretty strong, and we never ended up swimming in the ocean. But there are beautiful cenotes and lagunas nearby to explore! A slightly larger trash can in the room would've been helpful.

“Best place to stay near Tulum”
+Wonderful place right on the beach. Hotel room had everything we needed. Staff and service were amazing! Entry path to the hotel was well guarded.
−Staff would sometimes stand in front of your balcony, this takes away the privacy a little.

“An oasis!!”
+Staying at Mantaray was the best possible start for our trip around Yucatan!! You arrive at the little paradise, with a beautiful calm beach and only the loveliest staff around, who are helpful and relaxed. There is a lot of space to chill out and spend the day-we were there with two small kids and the beach right on our front porch was the best thing ever! The food is absolutely delicious, we tried every item on the menu! The room and the whole little hotel is beautifully decorated and you can feel a lot of love and work going into even the smallest details.
−The only thing I would dare to criticise is that the included breakfast is really good, but also quite small so we always had to get some added dishes- for the rooms rates I think that shouldn’t be necessary…

+The staff were so wonderful. From Matias to Fernando, Mecelo and Esteban, everyone working at the hotel/resort were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel right at home. The food option and drink options were delightful as well. The price points on their menu items were very fair for the quality of food and drinks we had. Our room was very spacious, we loved having our own kitchen and venturing to the local markets to make our meals from time to time. The bed was very comfortable too!

“Mantaray was the BEST part of Tulum!”
+Mati, and his team provided us with a 5-Star experience that started 2 weeks before we arrived. Their concierge style approach helped us to maximize our stay by assisting us with booking everything from excursions to dinner reservations and informing us on things that we otherwise would not have known about. Their attention to detail shines around every corner of this tropical paradise and with every delicious meal, cocktail, and every smile! In fact we cancelled a dinner reservation because we just didn't want to leave Mantaray. Their stunningly beautiful setting made this a trip that we will never forget! We will be back soon, and we're telling all of our friends.

“Exceptionnel”
+L’emplacement est incroyable, la baie est sublime. L’appartement est spacieux et confortable avec une vue imprenable. Le personnel est extrêmement agréable et accueillant. Un endroit qui met le temps en suspend. Accessoires de snorkeling, canoë et paddle à disposition.
