10.0“Fabulous, calm and clean - worth staying even if you’re not doing any hiking!”
+Beautifully located and at the start of the Rakaposhi trail. We upgraded to rooms newly finished at the top with a terrace with lovely views. Very calm place, good area to relax in, good food, very clean. We even were able to have a shower on our return from the 2 day hike. There’s a lovely village walk through mulberry trees and past livestock. And there’s a swimming pool in the village!!
−Nothing! There were even walking poles and hats to borrow!!

10.0+We had the best time here, the rooms are spacious comfortable and clean, hot water electricity and WiFi were always available. It was quiet at night and the beds were very comfy. We had the best sleep after two days of intense hiking . What sets this place apart is the hospitality of the family, they are kind generous and have lots of stories about the area. The food is exceptional, by far the best we had in the region. They also have some luxury rooms and cosy stone cottages which we would definitely go for in our next visit :)

9.0“A hidden gem in Minapin wilderness......”
+The hotel, the owner and the complete team were extraordinary. The hotel is a hidden gem inside a timeless 250 year old village of minapin. The artistically designed rooms on the first floor were a delight. We got ourselves Diran Boutique room. A true piece of art set within the wilderness of Nagar, Gilgit Baltistan.
−The access roads from KKH inside to the village are a matter of name only unfortunately.

10.0“Go there and stay there. Amazing place and amazing people!”
+Manakur was the best place I stayed during my trip to Pakistan. Everything was perfect, from the welcome (free tea and a free motorcycle ride to the guesthouse offered by the owner's son), to the quality of the room (large and very comfortable bed, clean bathroom). Not to mention the food (there are some typical Minapin meat dishes on the menu that you absolutely must try. The portions are also huge!). The location is perfect as well, since Manakur is the last building in Minapin, so the closest to the start of the trek to Rakaposhi! The owner is fantastic, keeping you company without being intrusive and telling many interesting stories about his life (huge thanks for the cigarette). Manakur is an amazing place, and for the service offered, I would have happily paid even more. Go there if you are in Minapin, and you won't regret it!!!
−The fact that I stayed just two nights. I would have stayed much longer if possible. I really hope that these guys get the recognition they deserve cause the way they manage the place is just phenomenal!!! Thanks for everything

10.0“A fantastic stay in Minapin”
+A fantastic stay. A very well run hotel, nice and clean, in a brilliant location where the R. base camp trail starts. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Wifi works well. Good value. Great food and chai. A pleasant common area to sit and chat with other hikers. I loved every minute there. Thanks very much!
