“It was amazing, great location and overall and amazing time”
+The room was impeccable, i stayed with a friend. Amazing bathroom and kitchen and the bedroom was big and comfortable. Room 103 was very disability friendly

+We liked it was very central. Room was clean and tidy with everything you would expect.
−We were on the top floor with no lift so lots of stairs, my husband has knee trouble so just managed it. I know we could have asked for a different room. My husband was waiting for me after breakfast in the restaurant and overheard the kitchen staff 's music which was quite loud and inappropriate for a hotel. He did complain and was told it wouldn't be the first time this had happened and that they were very sorry.

“A nice hotel let down by the breakfast offering :(”
+The staff were very helpful, particularly when I called to check the parking. The location was great as it was central to Truro. I also appreciated the unique art work in the room.
−I was very disappointed to find that while I had paid for breakfast, there was a surcharge for cooked breakfast. Had I realised that this was the case I would not have paid for this and would likely have eaten else where. Also the coffee on offer was pretty poor I'm afraid. Many other hotels have been to cup machines now that provide an excellent cup. This was coffee from a filter machine that wasn't very nice unfortunately.

“Had a really lovely stay”

+Lovely breakfast with a good range to choose from :-) I have stayed here three times now and always found staff to be welcoming. Rooms are clean and tidy. Will definitely stay here again
−bar is a bit expensive. £13 for a glass of wine with lemonade was a bit much!

−Very tired room 23. Needs a total makeover to freshen up. Single glazed window overlooking kitchen extractor , noise from 06.00h to 21.00h. We didn’t need to open the window for fresh air !Double glazing would help. Tea/coffee facility meagre. Bed 5/10 mattress OK but pillows lumpy. Bathroom although small could be cleaner.Bar closed at 22.00h so no drink available after visiting theatre performance next door to hotel in Hall for Cornwall.Reception unable to call a taxi for us….. to go to a funeral.I was given a card and number to call myself. I therefore went to the empty dining room directly beside reception to call for a taxi.Mid call to the taxi company I was rather aggressively told call elsewhere.

−The windows were filthy, 13 plug sockets in the room, I don't have 13 sockets in my house, furniture dated, NO BREAKFAST!!!! BE AWARE!!!! I paid £117 for the room, breakfast included and was then told that all it included was 1 inch croissants and pan au chocs, dry bread, absolutely disgusting

+The room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean however a little small. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and a good selection of food choices for breakfast. Location was excellent and a bonus having car parking although at £10.00 per day a little expensive.
−Disappointed the view from the window as it looked over the rear of the hotel. Car park charges for residents. A lift would be helpful due to the many stairs especially when managing to carry a suitcase and hold the banister.
