“perfect”
+It was great. We were just lying on the terrace of our house, watching the animals. We saw elephants, crocodile, monkeys... Also the staff was really nice. I had a problem with my tooth, while staying there and they organized dentist visit for me.

“A peaceful riverside stay with great food, beautiful views, and exceptionally accommodating staff”
+We had an excellent experience at Man Eaters Camp near Tsavo East. The location was one of the best parts of our stay,right next to the river, very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Our room was also facing the river, and the view was beautiful. The food was another pleasant surprise. It was very much in line with the kind of food we normally enjoy, and everything was well cooked and full of flavour. At many local resorts, you sometimes find the food quite bland, but here the salt, spices, and seasoning were done properly. You could tell the food was prepared by someone who genuinely knows how to cook. The staff were extremely friendly, cooperative, and accommodating. We missed lunch twice during our stay, and they were kind enough to compensate us for it. They also gave us extra checkout time, which we really appreciated. Overall, our experience was excellent. The location, river view, food, service, and value for money were all very good. I genuinely was not expecting the place to be this good, and it turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend Man Eaters Camp.

“An incredible experience. Wish we had stayed longer!”
+Incredible location right on the Tsavo river with views all round from the pool, restaurant, bar, reception and rooms. As we arrived, a herd of elephants were drinkng at the river. We also saw crocodile, hippopotamus, monkeys, birds. The rooms were comfortable, African safari themed, huge bed, efficient fans and a beautiful deck with chairs and sunbeds with a view over the river. The stay was really great value for money. The staff were incredible. From arrival to departure you were greeted and felt welcome. The restaurant staff in particular were super friendly, especially Gregory and a lady who was the Maitre De who's name I now forget. The hotel is only around 10 mins to the Manyani gate to Tsavo East. In the evenings you are escorted by one of the guards to/from the restaurant as there are no fences here and elephants and wild animals can potentially be outside your rooms. We loved this part!
−Nothing. It was all good. There was a huge choice at the buffet breakfast, lunch & dinner but sometimes tasted all pretty similar. This was not a problem as it was always served with a smile.

“Oui, allez y !”
+personnels accueillant et souriant. Depuis votre balcon, si vous prenez le temps d'y rester un peu... vous y verrez singes, pintades, éléphant. A proximité de Tsavo West gate (env. 1 km)

+Die Lage am Fluss ist so idyllisch. Ab und an kommen Elefanten, Antilopen oder Flusspferde vorbei. Die Pool lädt zum erfrischen ein. Das Restaurant hat ausreichend Abwechslung und das Essen ist gut. Für 15€ kann man Mittagsbuffet dazubuchen. Die Zelte sind trotz bis zu 38 Grad innen angenehm kühl.
−Wir hatten Wasservorräte vergessen aufzufüllen. Die nächste Möglichkeit ist gut 1h entfernt. Das muss man wissen. Im Camp kostet der Liter 3€, das summiert sich schnell wenn man mehrere Tage dort ist.

“Mooie lodge met lekker eten en vriendelijke personeel”
+Goed eten en aardig personeel. Een bar die altijd is bemand en twee pooltafels voor kinderen. Je beseft pas hoe goed het is als je in de volgende accommodatie terecht komt.
−Het is nog een kwartier tijden naar de Manjani gate van Tsavo east en als je Nijlpaarden wil zien in Tsavo West ben je 10 uur zoet (uit en Thuis)
