+Absolutely lovely experience to stay at Manaslu! Abhimanyu, the host, reached out even before I landed and was super helpful in guiding about everything from how to reach, where to travel, who to contact and more. In between our trip, we had an accident, and while the place doesn't have an elevator, the staff and owner were more than helpful and accomodating our movements. The breakfast and jhol momos were amazing, and the best part was the absolutely delicious Cheesecakes and brownies available even at midnight to celebrate a birthday! Home away from home, and a place I will cherish staying at for years to come!

“A very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!”
+The room was spacious and clean, with hot water available. The view was beautiful. Breakfast was good, which is a must before a long journey. Abhimanyu Bhaiya was very helpful in planning and arranging everything for us.

+Breakfast is good, also served in room as per our choice. Staff are friendly. Good follow up from prior to check in on arrival time, dinner preparation etc.
−The property did not have a lift, In a hilly area the purpose of lift may be questioned. But still it is a added benefit for those who find it hard to climb. The property did not have an air conditioner, but they provided room heater upon request at no extra cost

“Great boutique hotel”
+Room was well equipped and tvery clean. Location is perfect if you want the visit both sides of the city.. Breakfast was excellent and staff was very prompt

“homely, well-run place with great food and genuinely caring staff”
+I absolutely loved my stay here! The room was huge, cozy, spotless, and felt like a real home , big shower, proper work desk, a lounge corner, and even a room heater that was a lifesaver in winter. The hill views and cherry blossoms along Deorali Road were beautiful, and the room was so well soundproofed that I barely heard any traffic. The food was exceptional. I ended up having every meal at the hotel because the continental dishes (pastas in particular!) and especially the desserts were genuinely some of the best I’ve had , the Millionaire Shortbread, Matcha Basque Burnt Cheesecake and warm Sea Salt Walnut Brownie were my faves. Breakfast was generous, warm, and always topped up - i looked forward to it every morning. As tho that wasn’t enough, the best part was the amazing staff - warm, attentive, always available on WhatsApp, and clearly took pride in everything from the food to the service. It felt like staying with relatives who quietly look out for you… I’d come back in a heartbeat and recommend any family/friends to stay here for sure!
−Honestly, nothing major. If I had to nitpick (like a spoiled foreigner), I’d say I wished the TV had Netflix, and the hot water took a little while to heat up. But these were really tiny inconveniences that didn’t take away from an otherwise amazing stay!

“A perfect blend of comfort, warmth, and great hospitality”
+We had a wonderful stay at Manaslu! The rooms were even more spacious and comfortable than they appeared in the pictures. Our host, Abhimanyu, was exceptionally kind and helpful, always available to answer our questions and make our stay enjoyable. We had initially booked for just two days but liked it so much that we returned for another night when we were back in Gangtok. The food was delicious, and overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
−Overall, it was a wonderful and comfortable stay. Just a small suggestion to allow easier night access, perhaps through an automated gate system.

“A well located hotel with very good facilities and adorable owner/manager as well as efficient staff”
+Manaslu is a small hotel with very personalised service. After booking, I was in contact with the owner/manager Mr. Abhimanyu who was extremely kind, courteous and helpful in providing prompt responses, sharing useful tips and arranging for the transport during the whole period of our stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. Cooking, serving in the dining and housekeeping is provided by an adorable and friendly couple who ensured that our stay was comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and tasty.. The hotel is well loacted with a nice view. Though it is on a main road, the double-glazed windows filtered out the outside noise.
−The hotel does not have an elevator but that was not really an issue as we did not have to take our baggage up or down. Another point is the absence of any room heating facility. The beds are provided with thick blankets but we would have liked to have the room a little warmer as we are more used to the hot and tropical climate.
