+Very good breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Fine dining styled dinner with locally sourced ingredients. Everything is clean, we were given clean towels every day. Amazing location - I appreciate the whole country's commitment to nature and especially to wood.
−Underground room with a small roof window.

“Lovely winery and boutique hotel”
+Fantastic boutique hotel, winery and restaurant in a scenic location just off the highway. We stayed for one night only, en route from Italy, and were really pleasantly surprised. Although we had had dinner already, the host provided us with an impromptu wine tasting and in the morning, after a great breakfast, we got to see the wine cellars as well. Really impressive place, great food and stunning location.

“Everything here is exceptional!”
+Majarija is truly a remarkable destination where history, hospitality, and exceptional cuisine come together seamlessly. Beautifully restored and lovingly operated by the owners alongside their impeccable staff, every detail reflects a passion for quality and authenticity. The tasting menu, paired with thoughtfully selected wines, is extraordinary and an experience not to be missed. Each dish is beautifully presented and elevated by the freshest homegrown herbs, whose vibrant flavors add a memorable touch to every course. What makes Majarija even more special is the story behind it. The owners purchased the villa in the early 2000s and placed it under historic protection, demonstrating their commitment to preserving its heritage. To respect the property's historic status while enhancing the guest experience, they cleverly added underground rooms that create a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy and purchase a variety of outstanding products made on-site, including fresh jams, brandies, and liqueurs. These artisanal offerings are a wonderful reflection of the estate's dedication to craftsmanship and tradition. Majarija is more than a place to stay or dine; it
