+Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful, incredible owner who went above and beyond beyond to make us feel welcome and took extra care.
−It was excellent. Comments are minor: up some steep steps which took some effort to climb at elevation. Some beds were less comfortable. (We stayed in 3 different rooms over our stay, as we came and went and came back 3 times to the same hotel.)

+The property is in a great location in a lovely part of Cusco, the room is spacious and clean. The owners were lovely and super helpful. We requested breakfast one morning and it was all organised for us for the time requested.
−Nothing, although I would recommend bringing an eye mask as our room had a ceiling window with no blinds, and ear plugs as the whole city can be a bit noisy.

+Beautiful rooms, excellent location next to cafes and restaurants and only a short walk to the central plaza (good preparation for hikes anyway). Mimi, the host, is very warm and accomodating. Has good views of cusco. Great value for what you get!

“Generous friendly hosts who make you feel like you're visiting friends”
+Itala and Jean-Paul were the perfect hosts, always ready to provide tips and advice and have a chat. We learnt so much about Cusco and Peru just from them. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and clean and the views from the rooms incredible. It's a short walk into town, down a steep road, which was easily accessible for us. Very close to the Saksaywaman archaeological site, and San Blas neighbourhood.
−Nothing, it was perfect for us! If you struggle with walking up stairs or steep inclines it might not be the best option, but I imagine a lot of places in Cusco would have this challenge.

+Wir hatten eine so wundervolle Zeit hier, dass wir auf unserer Reise immer wieder zurück hierher gekommen sind.das Gästehaus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich. Abends wird geheizt und das warme Wasser war immer zuverlässig. Das Bett ist sehr gemütlich, ich habe selten so gut geschlafen. Mimi, die Gastgeberin, tut ihr bestes, um die Gäste glücklich zu machen. Als ich krank war, hatte sie sich rührend um mich gekümmert. Da ich kein Spanisch spreche, haben wir alle Sprachbarrieren dank Übersetzungs-Apps überwunden. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist recht weit oben auf dem Berg, aber dafür unterstützt man mit jedem Aufstieg die Akklimatisierung. Wir haben sehr genossen, wie ruhig es dort war. Ein kleiner Tipp: wenige Meter vom Gästehaus befindet sich ein hervorragendes Restaurant namens Qampaq.

“Un hogar en Cusco”
+Nos encantó quedarnos en Maison Fortaleza. Habíamos reservado otro alojamiento que no funcionó y Mimí nos recibió aquí sin nada de antelación. La calidez de Mimi se traslada también a la casa y las habitaciones. Es un lugar hermoso al que queremos volver.

+Ha sido INMEJORABLE. La anfitriona es encantadora. Me ha cuidado como una madre. He estado mal de la tripa y sin pedirle nada me preparaba tes especiales para ello, también nos ha dejado paraguas y una chamarra para la lluvia, además de un peine que se me rompió. Es un amor, la verdad que de las mejores personas que he conocido en mi vida. Todo esta muy limpio y hace todo lo posible para que estés cómoda. Repetiré!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gracias por todo!
