“Very terrible experience. I am living in fear of taking bedbugs to my home”
+The location was good
−House keeping was terrible. Room was bedbug infested and the staff seems to be comfortable with it. The porter just picked the bedbug with his hands and said sorry and no other plan was made. Loud music played till 3am - I couldn’t get the rest I needed for the night. I booked standard double room on booking.com but my room was downgraded to Deluxe with hotel staff explaining they had to do o to cover for charges booking.com will give them. Meanwhile, booking.com showed I was actually saving on the standard room but I got deluxe room that was way less than what I paid. Terrible explanation

“Good.”
+I liked the ambience.
−Breakfast was not impressive. There was no electric iron to smoothen our clothes, we had to pay for each cloth to be ironed. Parking space was small, it was managed efficiently.

+The security guys were nicer than the hotel staff. The breakfast was fair. The lift was working. The reception area was presentable.... so much for a hotel in VI...
−It was noisy, I couldn't rest. Some of the kitchen staff were bitchy for no reason. The room was small. The bathroom is not very clean. The deluxe room looks more like a single room yet is expensive. I will not recommend it.

“Decent stay option”
+Great location in the heart of VI. Very good rooftop restaurant with nice ambience and good food & drinks. Decent breakfast spread. Staff was prompt and courteous.
−Loud music from neighboring club until 2am accompanied by noises from above room made sleeping difficult. Compact room with little space to move. Poor WiFi connectivity in the room.

“Terrible service with horrible staff. I left the next day because of their horrible staff.”
+It was close to the US embassy
−One of the staff called Blessing was rude as hell and arrogant. She does not have customers service experience at all. When I requested for her manager, she refused and stated, "I am the manager" The security guides were nice. They informed me that the lady at the counter during the morning I left the hotel was not the manger.

“Absolutely quiet and relaxing ambience! Cool comfort at affordable rate!!”
+POSITIVES: Ambience: cleanliness was remarkable; pleasantly quiet and restful Menu: impressive in spread, taste, variety and presentation. Best part: adding healthy fruits and veggies Could add bottled water. 4th floor deck: the view was absolutely impressive, relaxing and welcoming Room for improvement, drop chocolate wine; include affordable sauvignons, chardonnays, pinot, reds like Apothic, for wine connoisseurs, or less pricey French and Italian whites and reds Menu; Seafood combo was phenomenal!; Goat meat was too tough and tomato excessive, OWNER/MANAGER: Exceptional+++. Good public and guest relations. Honored Booking.com rate. Daily presence.in breakfast room, calm supervision, professional yet relaxed demeanor.
−Room for improvement: less spicy pepper, less oil especially in the scrambled eggs,, moyin moyin more moist, Adding sweetener (preferably plant-based) for guests on low or no sugar diet. bottled water (soft plastic)

“Below expectations. The property does not live up to its advertising.”
+The location is excellent. Directly across from Eko hotel and next door to Bamboa and The library
−Inadequate supplies in the hotel room. Coffee was freeze dried Maxwell house, the front desk was inflexible and it was challenging sometimes to get service. Forget service with a smile. Further more, room was for 2 adults but breakfast, though listed as included was for one person, coffee purchased separately was Maxwell from a container and you had to pay extra. Coffee machine was either broken or they didn’t use it. Plus the pool was not usable. The room was smaller than it appears in the pictures and the WiFi was spotty and unstable. Book as a last resort hotel for 1 night. Anything beyond, expect headaches.
