“Cozy apartment in a great central location, with a kind host and Salerno as the perfect, affordable base for the Amalfi”
+The Airbnb is very central, close to shops, restaurants, and groceries. Transport is easy but requires some planning: an international taxi costs about €20, or it’s a 20-minute walk to the ferry at Piazza Concordia (except for Capri, which leaves from Stazione Marittima). Keep in mind that English isn’t widely spoken, and meeting drivers on Via Roma can be challenging with heavy luggage. Barbara is a kind, responsive host. Salerno is safe, affordable, and a perfect base for the Amalfi Coast.
−The shower leaked, the dryer didn’t work well (we had to hang-dry clothes), and breakfast was only set up for one person unless reminded. Since we stayed for a month, we also had to request fresh towels and bed sheets weekly.

+Barbara is a nice host, responsive and provided us help to find the flat easily. The location is just perfect,the flat is centered in the old town area, literally a couple of minutes walk from the beach and city center (15-20 from the main train station).
−The flat was clean and well equipped (included some pre-made croissants for breakfast and coffee as well) and all kitchen utensils were to be found to cook as well 😊 The only thing we did not like is the flat is dark (compared to what we expected on the pictures) and it might be due to the old building and/or the leakage in the bathroom, but it has a special odour.

“Amazing host and apartment”
+We loved our stay at the hotel in the old city,everything was great! The host was responsive and very nice, and we’d definitely recommend it to others looking for a walkable location with free croissants for breakfast, 5-10 min walking to ferry and free local beach. There was a washing machine, and a drying rack.

“Cosy and beautiful”
+The host came to welcome us in person although we checked in late in the night, how kind! The place was very clean and well kept, two AC and food in the fridge and coffee. We had not issues at all and enjoyed our nights. The property is also very close to the beach and main tourist areas
−No negatives tbh. Area is like a maze with alleys and passages so maybe it can be hard to find sometimes when returning home

+Pros- near to port, in historic location, host was easily available on chat, near to shopping area and restaurants...
−House was very dark...no enough lights in the bedroom near dressing. It was dark even in daytime. Washroom was wet throughout ... There was no proper drainage in the washroom.. Water flow was very slow in both kitchen and washroom. Kitchen had basic pots to use.... cutlery was enough.. Oven was not working .. Breakfast- croissant, juice and milk was given Bedroom- bed was not comfortable, it was very itchy.... Living- carpet and rug were quite dirty... House requires deep cleaning. I don't understand why host is not taking action to repair washroom leakage...

“A gem in Old Town”
+Before we even arrived, our host had sent through a number of videos explaining the key collection, use of the apartments facilities and the sofa bed, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was easy. The location is amazing, dropping you into the heart of old town without the hussle and bussle on the main streets. The host was more than accommodating with our late check out.
−With three guests, finding somewhere to hang towels in the bathroom gets a bit of a challenge.

−Just to be aware that it is pretty loud in the evening. Even though the apartment isn’t located on a major street, still many people pass by and since the apartment isn’t located on the first floor- sometimes it can get load for a while
