+The staff were incredibly friendly. The room was clean and comfortable to stay in. The restaurant was also a pleasant experience. Again, the staff at the restaurant were also friendly with fast and efficient service. The food at the restaurant was delicious. I would definitely recommend Maderla if you are planning a trip to Bangkok. It sits in a convenient location where it is just a few minutes away from the nearest MRT and the Lumpini park.

“Maderla guesthouse and restaurant”
+3rd floor room good size, bathroom amazing, A/C very good, bed very comfortable, restaurant down stairs convenient and reasonably priced, 8-10 minute walk to huge mall (One Bangkok) Australian embassy next door to mall, many bars and restaurants very close, street food everywhere, if need to visit Australian embassy again will definitely stay at Maderla. Very busy area.

+Great location, beautiful room, soft and comfy bed, stylish bath and bedroom, great aircon. And great value. The restaurant served really tasty food and seemed popular.
−The kitchen exhaust fan terminated right next to my bathroom. The fan in the bathroom meant there was an opening to the outside that meant that all the noise from the kitchen fan entered my room. It was impossible to sleep before this was turned off. Due to Maderla being a restaurant the fan gets started around 9am and gets turned off around midnight or later. There was a kettle and cups but no tea or coffee. Unfortunately there is not really any area provided for hotel guests to just relax, like a patio or rooftop. It was unclear if food and beverages bought outside the hotel could be consumed in the public areas that belonged to the restaurant.

“I think I was the last time there!”
+Gute Lage!
−The boss from Khong Kaen! Inpolite and rude. Only asks you for money. Invites herself for drinks you have to pay. Takes your food,when you order from a good italian restaurant. Asks for more more and more. One slice of pizza was noch enough. Unfriendly when you deny... The staff itself is pleasent, friendly and helpful. She, the boss, isn't. Denied to give VAT bills. I think she pays no tax for her rooms...

+The room and bathroom were clean. The rooms are located above a café where the food is tasty and reasonably priced, which was very convenient. The area itself is good, although the metro is a bit far away.
−The biggest problem was a ventilation pipe with a fan located right next to my window. It was noisy throughout the day until it was switched off at night. Because of the kitchen exhaust, I also could not open the window without food smells coming directly into the room. There was no housekeeping during my stay; only bottled water was provided.

“Complain about booking and about the stay”
+I like everything except what I'll describe I do not like very much!
−There was a consistent, non-stop noise, coming from outside the toilet window, while only fabric curtain separate between the super noisy toilet and the room itself. I've asked to cancel reservation after being realized this phenomenon. There's wasn't possibility to cancel for free, so asked the property owner to cancel it for me for free, but she refused to do it. The noise prolonged every day from 9 AM to 1.30 AM next night. I made reservation for 6 nights. So I suffered from this all the time I'm in the room. There wasn't any kind of warning about the matter before I booked this place.

+Pt banii ăștia. Este o locație corectă. Aproape de metrou. Au mâncare foarte bună la restaurantul de jos. Chiar si mancare europeana. Spălătorie selfwash aproape. Dam nota 10 din 10!
−Ar mai trebui in general un feon in camera. Sotia nu a avut cu ce sa își usuce parul. Nici nu am cerut, probabil ne dădea unul.
