“Good value, great experience!”
+The accommodation was spotless and comfy. Bed was huge, facilities were clean and cleaned everyday, and the staff were always super friendly and approachable. The hostel is chill and affordable, other guests were kind and sociable too. Food nights in the kitchen/roof terrace were a superb experience as well, will definitely recommend!
−Nothing really, it was my first time staying in a backpackers hostel and honestly it's been a great experience.

+The staff were generally friendly and the vibes were good. The services were adequate. I had to check out early and received a refund for the remainder of my booked time, which I did not expect.
−The first night I was there i was woken up and first asked if I had paid for the bed. After I confirmed I had, I was told that I couldn't use my sleeping bag as a duvet due to company policy. I was provided with some additional blankets. I looked through the terms and conditions and couldn't find any reference to not being able to use my own bedding. If there was something, I wouldn't have brought my sleeping bag. I also asked another staff member about it the following morning and they weren't aware of such a rule. If that is a rule I would recommend updating the terms and conditions to include this or add more clarity. There was also a leak right above the toilet in the second floor bathroom, so it would drip on you while using the toilet.

“Amazing staff and unbeatable location!”
+The staff are always amazing, friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean and comfortable, and I love the little details like the charging points and personal lamps next to the beds, such a plus! The location is also unbeatable, just a few steps from Southern Cross Station. It’s perfect for me because I can easily stop in Melbourne between regional trips. I always have a great stay here. Highly recommend! ❤️

“Nice hostel - no issues”
+The rooms were a good size. The kitchen is well equipped.
−A lot of people are staying there long term so it's not so much of a backpackers hostel. The location is good for getting to the airport but not so close to other things in the city.

“Comfortable, cheap, close to Aldis and a nice night kebab”
+I loved the staff and the people. Really nice community and the showers and bathrooms were cleaned regularly. The balcony attached to the kitchen made it feel more spacious.
−The rooms were a bit small and guests have little floor space for luggage and stuff.

+I have stayed in many hostels over the years and this place is unparalleled when you factor in the following, which was immediately apparent upon arriving; - calm energy and vibes - very helpful and friendly staff - super warm and welcoming guests all of whom treat the venue and also each other with kindness, curtesy and I genuinely mean this when I say it you can feel like someone you’ve just met is a dear friend that you can trust and also have a crazy good laugh with! By far the cleanest and highest quality bathrooms and other facilities. Staff are very accommodating and make you feel like you are at home, so to speak. Special shoutout to Victor who is a fantastic staff member and just a super cool guy!
