“Exceptional hospitality made my stay truly memorable”
+The hotel is centrally located, just a 5-minute walk from the ghat where the Ganga Aarti takes place, making it an excellent base for exploring Varanasi. But what truly makes this place special is Vishnu, the hotel owner, who must be one of the most welcoming and generous hosts you can imagine. He treats his guests like family. He personally picked me up on his scooter as cars were restricted from entering the city center when I was there. He arranged for front-row seats for the Ganga Aarti on two consecutive evenings and personally accompanied me to my seat both times. He also took me on a three-hour guided walking tour of the city, as he is a tour guide himself, arranged for a morning boat ride on the Ganges, and even did my laundry. All of this he did without any extra charge for his personal assistance and guiding. Vishnu's generosity and thoughtfulness made my stay in Varanasi truly memorable.

+I caught a cold on flight there, then fever which meant I hardly left room as Varanasi air quality aggravated my sore throat, coupled by a very ironic location for a RAFF show and it's horrid noise pollution ( pre show practices ) ! With hardly enough energy to walk to the pharmacy to get paracetemol to at least remove the fever, the hotel staff came to my aid by doing so, scootered me to my fav restaurant to receive nourishment ( and escape ) while saying prayers over my head at their mini hotel shrine . Subsequently my fever lifted and I was able to catch my flight the next morning to Nepal. Without the morale support of Vishnu and rest of staff it would have been a nightmare ❤️. My room was cool, clean and comfortable. Vishnu arranged my arrival from airport to hotel and reverse with great aptitude and I found him quite entertaining & reassuring. It's a very good option to stay here as so close to the good restaurants and ghats with reliable scheduling from host and comfortable rooms.

+The owner is incredibly friendly. He was always checking in on me, asking if I needed anything or if everything was okay. He talked to me every time we met, and meeting such a wonderful Indian person made me so glad I chose this place. I stayed for three nights, and on the day he was away to renew his license, I actually felt a bit lonely when I returned to the guesthouse. That’s how much fun and full of love he is! Also, when my friend came over, he set up a table and chairs on the rooftop so we could enjoy our time right in front of the Ganges River. He is a host who truly wants his guests to be 100% satisfied and happy. You'll have a great time here!

+Location and the owner, hot water and air conditioner worked well, but only because we were upgraded. The room we booked didn’t have aircon that worked
−Our room was clean but the rest of the property was dirty. Construction underway and very noisy at night. We got stuck because of the sheer amount of people trying to get to temple that we couldn’t get out of the hotel on occasion because of the narrow alleyways

I had a room without A/C only with a fan but the room is cool and the air conditioning was not missing. The hot water works well, the towel is changed daily, free bottled water, clean, white linen. The manager will help you with any information, speaks good English...
