7.0“Okay stay, usable as a base especially for price”
+Used room as base. I really liked having codes for doors instead of physical keys as this gave my family a sense of more security. The decor and bedding were nice. Cleanliness was good. The TV and private bathroom were very much needed. Thankfully we did not smell smoke, as we have had bad experiences from previous places in the local area.
−The kettle wasn't usable due to limescale build-up. Furthermore it was right next to the single bed where our child slept so it wasn't safe to use even if we could. The window was not openable which made the room very warm and uncomfortable. Not enough space to move around the room safely so glad it was only a base. The bathroom door didn't shut properly which would hit you while on the toilet. You had to forcefully shut it, which doesn't surprise me that it had a hole from a previous person. Plus we found dirty socks from a previous person. No food rule which was hard for our child and no breakfast? But says breakfast on the door. No contact with actual staff. TV was too low and in a Key point of the room for maneuverability as I did hit my head a few times and I'm short. It seemed more like an adult friendly place than a family friendly place. Mattress was thin and hard.

1.0“Worse hotel we have ever booked”
+Location - was central to everything
−Nobody to meet you on arrival, was messaged a code to access front door and then to access room. On entry to the hotel there was not a very nice smell in the hallway, the rooms downstairs were filled with bags of dirty linen. When we got into the room, there was no space to move, the tv didn’t work, the room was stiflingly hot with no fans available, window didn’t open very far, tv didn’t work and bathroom extremely small. The room was so bad we left immediately and didn’t even take our suitcases out of the car. Was unable to complain or ask to change rooms as there was nobody (staff) in the hotel. We instantly booked another hotel and didn’t mind losing the money paid for the hotel and the parking (£19 for 2 days across the road from the hotel) the hotel was so bad there was no way we were going to stay there.

8.0“A fantastic stay from start to finish! We were visiting for our daughter's dance competition, and the location was p”
+We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel. We were visiting for our daughter's dance competition, and the location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the venue, which made the whole weekend so much easier. The owner was incredibly kind, friendly, and approachable, with excellent communication from the moment we booked. She answered all of our questions before we arrived, which made us feel well prepared and reassured. We were especially grateful that she left us a space on her driveway to park. Travelling with a child under 10 means there's always a lot to carry, so having parking right outside was a huge help. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and for making our trip so enjoyable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we're in the area.
