“Overall was great for one night.”
+Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional 9/10. Room was clean but definitely needed an upgrade especially the bathroom and shower.
−No dislikes just needed an update and modernisation in the bedrooms.

+Only the location was okay.
−One of the staff was rude and swore at us for requesting our food cooked to our liking so much so we skipped breakfast we had paid for the next day. The room we stayed in was cold and the staff refused to help. No house keeping, and when we asked, we were told the cleaning staff had already gone home.

“Welcoming staff, breakfast was okay and the bed was very uncomfortable”
+The vibe, the historic references,, ascetics and the staff
−The walls were too thin, others guests slamming door (i know thats not the staffs fault), we could hear everything from the bar and we were informed and let down that chef quit a few weeks prior to our arrival

+Me and my friends have stayed at Lyndon House over 20 times and that in it's self tell you we have enjoyed staying there, the hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly basic but we only need a bed and the bar downstairs is a bonus.
−As I have said me and friends have stayed here over 20 times and in the past the hot water has been a little to hot but this time the water from the tap was hardly warm and made showering unpleasant. The location for breakfast has changed from the top dinning area to a basement room which is fine but the breakfast was this time very poorly cooked, the bacon was so hard a fork would not go in to it and had to be picked up by hand to eat and the fried eggs were also over fried. another small issue is and this goes for each time we have stayed here the coffee, tea and milk are never daily checked and topped up although when I have asked for more have been given them without issue. These comments are made so that in future the small issues can be hopefully corrected.

−Very disappointed with loss of bar food. Missed the excellent staff relations from previous visits.
