“horrible experience. would never stay again.”
+the bed was comfy. close to pleasure beach
−We have no free toiletries, no bathrobes, no bath, no tea or coffee maker, no working flatscreen tv, no city views, and no chocolate. We have also not been offered breakfast in the 2 days we have been waiting for breakfast. I paid for this room for my partner and I to have a relaxing week together, however we have had to go out and buy ourselves toilet roll, locks, and been extremely uncomfortable staying in this room. We would have booked another hotel last minute after discovering the the conditions of this hotel, however with the hotel being non-refundable, we cannot afford that. The idea that this hotel is non-refundable after the disgusting conditions and lack of any amenities, it’s shocking. I paid over £170, for all of these amenities, and we have received a bed with stains and a cracked toilet with no toilet paper. Nothing else. I am deeply concerned and very disappointed that my holiday has been filled with worry and unnecessary stress due to this situation. Even a part refund would alleviate some of this, as I do not believe the owners can change the stay we’ve had so far. They have been extremely unwelcoming. We asked 1 man if we could have some towels. He muttered that

+The young lad on day staff was lovely. But tried WiFi multiple times. No remote until the last night n VERY limited channels. Bedding was clean breakfast was nice. But hotel itself was awful and VERY dated. Smashed front window. Needs a serious update.
−Pool table wrecked & No bar but specified there was. Very dated. Lots of Miscellaneous stuff laying round that didn't belong there. Wooden window frames. Needs erious update

“Very poor.”
+I booked this hotel due to its location for what we were doing so location was great.
−Turning up to the property to book in the host didn’t even say hello just “name” to which I gave then he walked off came back and walked upstairs I asked “do we need to follow you?” No reply but we did follow him up the stairs. He opened our door and walked off! No information no explanation of anything didn’t know what time breakfast was literally nothing. Going for breakfast following morning the same no good morning or conversation just “how many” to which I said 2 he walked off. Returning 20 mins later with a breakfast we didn’t order. No ask of allergies or dietary restrictions. We asked for a coffee and a tea they came out after we had eaten what we could of our food the milk was off in the tea and had bits floating all in it. The room was basic but this we didn’t mind as it was only for us to put or heads down. But the room walls were filthy and the toilet light didn’t even work! Luckily we were only there for the night and managed to laugh it off a little instead of letting these ruin our stay.

“Non existent”
+Nothing !
−No one to greet me upon arrival ! Phone number on booking.com doesn’t work, number for hotel on google rang out. Phone number that was on the door next to the desk went to answer phone. I ended up driving about trying to look for accommodation but as it was busy it was tough. Ended up paying more than double for a room because no one here to accommodate me and my family that just drove over 3 hours with young children !! As soon as I walked in the door the place was smelly. Can’t even describe the smell it wasn’t clean anyway ! could’ve doing with an update and some staff of course !!
