“We came away so relaxed. We love the outdoors. It's so different to our normal life.”

“Homely and cosy”
+This accommodation was so homely! It was just perfect for me, hubby and our small dog. Gloria met us when we arrived. She was so kind showing us around and made us feel so welcome. We used their huge hot tub outside. It was so nice 🥰 It was near Bath University which was why I booked it in the first place. My daughter was able to enjoy short visits and had some home cooked meals with us. The space was enough for 2 people. We managed to cook, relax and enjoy being around nature. A perfect short break to celebrate my birthday 🤗😁
−The shower's temperature knob in the bathroom was just confusing. No toiletries provided but we brought our own anyway. I like watching the tv but only a couple of channels work. Hubby managed to use the "mirror" feature from his mobile. This was more of a preference and wasn't a big deal.

“Recommend”
+Very good location, central and Gloria is a very helpful and friendly host. Hot tub was excellent and Gloria happily came to help me lift off the (necessary) cover. The shower was hot with plenty of power as was the water for washing up. Exceptionally peaceful.
−Could perhaps do with a bit more storage space, I was attending a family celebration over the weekend so had more than average clothes with me, but I used the half of the bed I wasn't sleeping in! I hadn't realised there was a large gate as it was open when I arrived, upon my return around 10.30pm I thought I was in the wrong place and continued driving, however I soon worked it out but be warned it is very dark so make sure you are aware of the surroundings if you are coming back late.

“Amazing stay!”
+Really lovely shepherds hut in a beautiful village - the fireplace made rainy nights extra cosy and on the sunny days we enjoying sitting by the little pond watching the dragonflies! The hot tub was amazing - and we even had a visit from a friendly cat!

+Comfortable, clean, well equipped hut. Lovely hot tub, pretty lights outside for when using at night. Good location, friendly host.
−The wifi isn’t strong. We couldn’t snuggle in bed to watch TV, however we both slept well!

“Fantastic and highly recommend!”
+We had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut, beautiful surroundings in a remote area surrounded by wildlife. Great location as Bath isn’t too far about a 20 minute drive so we combined our weekend with sight seeing and relaxing. The bed was super comfy and the hot tub was amazing. Gloria was also an excellent host and always available if we needed her.

+Lovely shepherds hut, clean, all you need for a short stay! Comfy bed, beautiful surroundings! BBQ facilities and hot tub was wonderful. Hosts were super friendly and helpful.

“Perfect for a relaxed couples' retreat”
+Everything! The location was beautiful & quiet but still close to Bath. The shepherds hut was cute & comfortable and had everything we needed; and the hot-tub was amazing! It was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend away to celebrate my husband's birthday.
−The only thing I can think of is that it would be useful to have an electric kettle as the camping kettle took a long time to boil but everything else was perfect!
