“Great location but needs lots of TLC to bring up to standards for price charged”
+The location and view I will say are amazing and the drive was absolutely incredible. With a few modifications that place would be perfect but sadly didn’t reach expectations
−Where to start. The smell (as others have reviewed) was a damp smell covered up by some poorly scented incense. The tv was that old it couldn’t pick up free to air stations. The hot water for spa ran cold before it even reached the jets and leaking from the wall coming through the silicone (where I think the damp smell is coming from water in the walls) and cooling wouldn’t turn on. messaged to them no response. Ended up cutting stay short due to the smell making me sick for allergies of incenses

−Photos looked a lot bigger was tiny. No lounge or chairs just cramped table and 2 chairs. Unclean fry pans. No clothes hanging space. Slippery back deck. No spatula for cooking breakfast .. who would think you would have to bring that ?

“We enjoyed our stay despite the setbacks”
+Didn't have breakfast. No bickies. The quietness was wonderful.
−The bed was too high for the elderly. There was a trip hazard at the front door because of a curled up mat. The steps coming away from the front door were not regulation height.

“Generally a lovely stay in a lovely place.”
+Lovely quiet and comfortable room with all the basics. Easy to check in and out. Property owners quick to respond via text to our questions before and during stay. They provided a complimentary bottle of chardonnay for our anniversary which was nice.
−There was some confusion as to the cabin which we booked. We wanted the one with the fireplace (which was more expensive) so booked this thru booking.com. I also confirmed this via text with owner after booking. However our confirmation email 24 hours before had the different cabin (cheaper room). We had already bought firewood in preparation for this and it did initially sour the weekend for us.

+Location was superb, quiet yet close to everything Bed was very comfortable, Cabin was very clean, Spa bath - excellent, Back deck with chairs overlooking quaint garden - lovely Port and chocolate a nice touch! Books and games in the drawers - very thoughtful.
−A stand to put baggage would be nice. Basin too far from edge of benchtop. A separate sink for kitchen preferable Toilet paper holder too far back Auto fan button not long enough for shower. Makes a terrible sound when it pops out Curtain in bathroom will be hard to maintain as it gets wet during a shower. Could do with some cloths to dry outdoor furniture. Would be good to have had a bath gel/bubbles for spa. Electronic directory could have links to restaurants etc Fridge door shelves no barrier Instant coffee a disappointment - grinds and plunger or a moka pot would have been good.

−Does not hav vanity unit with a basin in bathroom.the sink that u wash ur dishes in is the same basin u are mentioned to wash ur hands in the toilet how un hygienic is that...also the stove top had rusted elements,the oven pans were rusted nearly out....very disappointed with this stay
