+This was a lovely, spacious room. Very clean , well decorated and only 1-2 miles from the entrance to the national Park.

+Beautiful property and interior, wonderful location. I was surprised after booking to learn that it was a host-free facility. Perhaps this should be shared on the website.

“Nice and close to volocano park”
+We received a room upgrade and it was very nice
−They ask to leave all the card details on a piece of paper which I do not believe is a safe way to ask for the info

“A great location, clean, and the rooms were spacious. Great bathroom!”
+The lodge was very clean and ideally located next to the volcano. The self-check in was very straight forward. I definitely will stay again.

“Great overnight getaway for us to Volcano. mahalo!”
+We had a great stay at Lokahi Lodge. The room was beautifully decorated, had a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave, high ceilings, a private bathroom, a huge bed, very clean, quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Loved staying here! We have been here before, and love the convenience to the Volcano National Park.

“Lokahi Lodge is not the worse place you’ll ever stay at, and it won’t be the best place you’ll ever stay at. But it does”
+Location
−It’s dated and could use a refresh in the rooms

“Bed comfortable, quiet, secluded location”
+Location was close to Volcano National Park
−Cleaning could have been better (i.e. old coffee left in pot, shelves needed dusted, etc) Raise pavers so you don't have to walk in water/mud between drive and sidewalk. The table/chairs are the same height and very uncomfortable wicker chairs - hard to eat or play games at. This made the bed the only comfortable spot to watch TV (tv very high)

“Great place for a short trip to see the volcano erupt. Would stay here again in the future.”
+Convenient location to Kīlauea and perfect for staying a few nights to be right outside of Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park.
−The only slight downfall was there was no A/C but thankfully it’s pretty cool in Volcano area so with windows open and the fan on it was fine. But if AC is a non-negotiable for you then I would think twice.
