“An authentic florentine experience in a vast beautifully decorated palazzo.”
+The enormous bedroom size with separate huge walkin robe and large bathroom was well received. The proximity to excellent osterias and bars was also great. The traditional decore and breakfast will long be remembered. I will stay here again next time I am in Florence.

+Great room, close to the main cathedral
−At night could get a bit loud and many people sleeping on the square in front of the hotel

+The food was very good and service was excellent. The breakfast room was bright and very appealing. We had drinks one evening in the lounge/lobby area that was very pleasant. Staff at the desk and cleaners were very good. Location was excellent.
−Our room was quite small and not reachable by elevator. We were not told this at checkin. It required an elevator ride and a confusing walk to a back set of steep stairs to reach our floor. The room was small but very bright and clean.

“Our least favorable lodging experience in Tuscany.”
+Close to the Accademia Gallery and the Duomo
−Very old creaky moving floors. In an annex building down the street. Not the best breakfasts. Super high up bed.

“Warmly welcomed to a beautiful hotel in a perfect location for wandering the gorgeous streets”
+The breakfast buffet was beautifully laid out and lots of choice….the scrambled egg was a little disappointing as I had to ‘slice’ bits of egg! Other than that, it was great value and in a beautiful room.
−The scrambled eggs were way overcooked

“It was a little more than we would usually spend per night, but the ease of everything make up for it!”
+It was very clean and kept up well. The staff was very attentive and helped us with anything we asked.

+Big room, historic building, great staff, now easy access using new light rail....recommend by Rick Steves...we have used this hotel many times, generally a quieter area and fewer tourists, it is a block from the Academia Museum next to the University
−A long walk to the better restaurants

“We love Loggiato!”
+We had an amazing stay here - the facilities and room were so beautiful and amazing we enjoyed every minute of it. So nice to come back to such a beautiful room after walking around all day. The staff were incredible, and so available to help with any needs. Really special stay for our first time in Florence will definitely be back here!
