2.0“Rubbish stay although ok accommodation if it had been suitable.”
+The property itself was ok although mould on the chair.
−It was advertised with booking.com as a double bed and sofa bed and when we arrived there was no sofa bed. We contacted booking.com and they did nothing, neither did the owners. My daughter (of 31) who was meant to be staying with me had nowhere to sleep and had to get hotel accommodation at the last minute. I have messaged everyone constantly and the issue has not been resolved. My daughter had to return home instead of staying.

8.0“Great location for exploring the Tarka Trail. Small but perfectly formed cabin.”
+The cabin is in the back garden of a holiday rental cottage. It's surrounded by the backs of terraced houses but the neighbours seemed friendly. It was well equipped, quiet, and comfortable and was perfect for a few days exploring the Tarka Trail on our bikes. Stylish kitchen and bathroom. It's a fairly short walk into the centre of Bideford.
−Perhaps not the best setting for a cabin, the garden is a bit scruffy and access is by way of an access-only road which could do with a bit of maintenance (i.e. hedge trimming). The cabin felt small but is well kitted-out.

5.0“Adequate. Too many unnecessary problems particularly regarding access.”
+Good basic facilities for self catering. Basic but comfortable furnishings.
−Access to the property was extremely difficult. Had to negotiate a narrow lane to get to the parking area at the rear of the property. The heavy iron gates were difficult to open, on one occasion being bolted from the inside. The lock box didn't work properly. The lock to the front door was loose. The blinds on the windows were flimsy and didn't give feeling of privacy. No air conditioning so when the sun shone it became very hot. When difficulties arose there was nobody local to contact other than the owner who was in London. Issue with double bed, there was only had access from one side.

9.0“Superb”
+Small, but very well thought out accommodation with private parking outside. We booked it to go on a day trip to Lundy and it was only a 15 min walk to the quay. Very quiet location in a residential part of town. There is a microwave and two hotplates, all you need for a simple meal.
−The bed is hard up to the wall on one side, but this is an insignificant complaint set against all the good points!

7.0“Good”
+The front door looked as if it had been broken into some time prior to my arrival and did not fit into the frame completely. the door lock needed juggling to ensure that the door was locked. I would have registered a complaint if my stay had been longer.
