9.0+Very comfortable, spacious cottage in a lovely rural location, but close enough to shopping facilities and routes to go exploring. Our host came to meet us and brought milk and bread, which was a kind gesture.
−All was great. The only minor irritation was that the flush on the toilet was quite weak.

10.0“Beautiful cottage - peaceful stay”
+We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage for the long weekend. There were five of us in total. Two parents and three kids (including two teens). The house is beautifully furnished and has every amenity you could need. Dishwasher, washing machine, full kitchen, garden with table chairs, etc. The kitchen was very well equipped and the owner had even left us some bits to get us started. There was also a stocked bookshelf and dvds. Beds were very comfortable and well laid out. Also great WiFi. The entire place was spotless! Communication from the owner was great and the whole process was easy from start to finish. Location was lovely. Very peaceful, but close enough to shops, etc if you needed them. You will need a car though! Highly recommended!

5.0+Good location. The rooms are spacious and the property is well-equipped with plenty of bedding, towels, and seating while the kitchen comes with a wide range of equipment and crockery.
−On our first day, we had difficulty accessing the property due to a defective lock on the main entrance, which required Jacqui to come over and explain how it worked. There were no light snacks or basic beverages (such as milk) provided on arrival. On the last day of our stay, the energy and lighting went out early morning and the energy meter displayed “NO MONEY.” Jacqui acknowledged all of these issues, apologised, and provided a refund of 11%, which we felt was insufficient given the inconveniences.
“family ancestry discovery trip”
+We loved staying at the Lisnafillan Lodge cottage during our recent trip to Ballymena. We were there in memory of my Mum who's grandfather was born in Ballymena. Such a gorgeous place to call 'home' during our stay. thank you!!
“Great place.”
+Great place. Very comfortable. Lovely country place near the city of Ballymena.

10.0“Warm homely cottage style guest house, "Country on the edge of town"”
+I loved that the property was a good one hour walk into town, as walking is my passion. I should add that I chose it based on location for this purpose and was very lucky with the weather. There is ample parking for guests that use their cars. I really liked the old style interior decoration and warm atmosphere of the guest house, particularly the breakfast room. Very clean.
−Shower head was difficult to get mix of hot and cold right- a very common issue in most places, but since it was in a bath I just bathed instead. Which was nice for a change.

9.0“Superb”
+It's a great location, just outside town. It was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean. The main bed in particular was so, so, so comfortable. We would happily go back!
−Nothing.... everything was great!
